OSU-Mansfield student abducted from campus by ‘armed and dangerous’ suspect

MANSFIELD, Ohio – A student at the Ohio State University Mansfield campus was abducted from a campus parking lot according to the school’s department of public safety.

The department said Skylar Williams was in the parking lot around 11:45 a.m. when the suspect, Ty’rell Pounds, approached her, showed a handgun, forced her into his vehicle and drove away.

Pounds is known to Williams according to the department.

State Troopers are looking for Ty’rell Pounds and Skylar Williams. They say he abducted her at gunpoint on the OSU Mansfield campus before noon, stole a van, and is considered armed and dangerous. @wkyc

According to that picture in the article in OP< it looks like they went to high school prom together.

My guess---they dated in high school, then she went away to college, and she probably became distant, and is moving on with her life...and he wasnt happy about it...

The sad irony was that he is a criminal justice major and he wanted to be a State Trooper. We don't need people like him working for the police!
