OH - Spencer and Monique Tepe found shot to death at home 2 children unharmed, Columbus, 30 December 2025 *ex-husband arrested*

So he what, blamed Monique and her husband for all his troubles in life? Clearly this guy's life was spiraling downward, but why seek out the Tepe's in particular for retribution? Were there others he intended to kill, was he some sort of injustice collector with a list of those who wronged or slighted him? I may never understand why this man did this. Those poor little girls.
In his mind, he is not able to blame himself for his life being in a bad spot.

Here he finds himself, holidays 2025... he has no romantic partners, he looks like he was having trouble in his career (one that he spend a decade plus working towards), he probably didn't have many friends as he was socially inept. In short, he was a loser. But it can't possibly be his fault, it's Monique's fault! After all, she's the one who left him while he was in residency and if she didn't do that everything would be perfect.

^ That is his warped calculus. In his brain it's her fault that he is a loser. So she had to pay. And to him, the husband might as well die too because he has everything that MM couldn't have.

What a pointless press conference that turned out to be. 😂
At least we know they recovered multiple weapons( guns) from his home with a preliminary link to the murders , probably one is a 9mm. They confirmed that they believe he is “walking man” the guy in the video released.

Did she say 2? I thought she said multiple (but I could be wrong.)

Nope youre right, they said multiple.
They said before that he was a hunter so multiple guns are not surprising, 9mm casings left at the crime scene so, IDK do people hunt animals with a 9 MM?. Sickening.

Why call a press conference and say nothing at all? Waste of time. Glad they patted themselves on the back for 35 minutes though!

Well it’s a little crumb I guess, but now no one can say they haven’t done a press conference,

They did also try to explain how hard they are working on the other unsolved crimes in the County. A bit defensive, imo.

This whole he "disappeared" andno one
The fact that he was using a false address and a fax machine phone number has me wondering if he also was being hounded by bill collectors and creditors.
This whole he "disappeared" and no one knew where he was when he left Nevada makes me laugh. Do they not have google ?

The only subject I mentioned was the psychotropic drugs. Nothing else. And it was a “wondering” thing.
Psychotropic meds played a large role in many school shootings. You can do some research on that.
Many have argued that they may use that as his defense. Because they can cause a lot of problems.
Was McKee on psychotropic drugs?

Do we know the outcome of this filing? That matters. There are lots of malpractice cases that have no merit.
They hadn’t managed to serve him yet. If he knew the details, despite not having been served (and I imagine he would know) this one may conceivably have caused some concern for someone who was in the process of becoming board certified. I agree that we can’t be sure. It’s speculation.

"She just had to get away from him," the Tepes' brother-in-law, Rob Misleh, told ABC News' "Good Morning America" of Dr. Michael McKee. Misleh said that Monique Tepe told him that McKee was emotionally abusive.

"Myself and many others were well aware of, kind of, the negative impact that he had on her. And the abuse that he put her through, the torment that he put her through," Misleh said. "She was willing to do anything to get out of there." Family of couple allegedly killed by ex speaks out: 'She just had to get away'

Snippets.
''Beneath his placid demeanour, Dr. Michael McKee was allegedly a grey, throbbing muscle of anger and “resentment.”

“They were married for such a brief time,” former FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer told NewsNation. “That is strange, but I think it was a deep-seated resentment and hate that just built up and finally came to this conclusion.”

'Coffindaffer added that the suspected killer had been stalking the couple for days and had staked out the home. It’s likely the suspect also obtained a passcode for the door to the posh home.'

“They had staked out the location well. It was also very clear they knew where the camera locations were because they evaded a lot of camera coverage, it would seem,” she said.''

'While friends and colleagues may have had few suspicions about McKee, his former in-laws had no doubt. Monique Tepe’s family “all expected” McKee would be busted.'

“I think what’s going to be critical for the investigators is a lot of the online search capacity, a lot, are there any recent chats? Were there any changes in the suspect’s demeanour in the last few months, last few years that could start delineating some type of frustration, revenge, outrage, jealousy, depression, anything, but usually the long-standing separation from the relationship, something had to trigger,” Halstead said.'
JC may have some points..or not.
I like to take everything this ex fbi agent says with a grain of salt. She was woefully out to lunch on the Karen Reid case as well as other issues I have seen her opine on.

Some have suggested the large neck width of McKee indicated steriods, actually his larger jaw is another indicator--you often see those in combat sports before and after pics, huge jaw, it's a red flag. JMO

I sure am glad that I won't have to serve on that jury, what a hard case to be involved in. All JMO

Well, for a juror it will be one of the more open and shut cases tbh. Once they do the ballistics on the gun, that's it.

I'm not defending the guy, but there is too much inaccurate/incomplete info and speculation on his professional life. He's a murderer and believe his actions have nothing to do with his professional career. JMO
They were granted a motion to serve him by publication on Nov 24./25 not sure if that’s happened The rest is in this doc below.

Press conference today: "There's a preliminary link between the weapon found at the home of McKee and the murder weapon by National Integrated Ballistic Information Network or NIBIN".
