What a beautiful video by Monique's BIL! Thank you for posting this for us, @Speculaytor . It now really hits home how tragic are the deaths of Spencer and Monique.

The Dr. who was 1,059 miles away. It has been reported SIGNIFICANTLY that this Dr. was very much on vacation during the 911 call.

"The first 911 call comes at 8:58 a.m. from Dr. Mark Valrose, the owner of Athens Dental Depot, where Spencer Tepe was a dentist. Valrose, calling from his vacation in Florida, says employees told him Spencer Tepe hadn’t shown up for work."

this is where I'm at too. I trust the police probably have more of an idea/direction they are going in, but since i'm not privy to the inside, i'm suspecting anyone/everyone in the Tepe's orbit at this point.

I hate to be cynical here but a wedding video from 5 years ago doesn’t tell us what their personal situation was 5 years later. Aren’t wedding videos meant to be joyful and memorable anyway?

They did not consent to their wedding photo going viral worldwide. They have been violated enough.

If the news reports about some of the family like the later father of Spencer having police guard are true, due to it being “targeted” (BIL’s words) it makes the promotion of the video and the BIL saying they he is looking after their babies and dog (hours after the murder) quite reckless. Why give the public this information?

Yes, please listen to the 911 call. It gave me some "accent" vibes- but I have no idea where it could be from. To me, it sounded like a variant of "6:00 news", but with a twist of some sort.

I can readily pick up on several Texas, New Mexico and Louisiana based accents. But... sadly anything beyond that just merges into "sounds like big city north east or sounds like big city midwest" to me.

The "domestic incident" 911 caller does not sound like Monique to me, based on her voice in the wedding video.

Monique sounds educated and well-spoken with a neutral Ohio accent.

The 911 caller sounds younger and less educated with poor grammar: "I don't need nothing."; "me and my man..."

The pause and tearful response after the dispatcher asked if it "got physical" is worrying.

It doesn't sound like a "party atmosphere" to me, so that aspect is perplexing. But if the Tepes kindly helped this woman out somehow - or got in between her and her partner - I could see that as reason for vengeance from a violent man.

I have two young kids the ages of the Tepe kids. While we are social and like to have people over, it’s very rare someone would stay until 3 AM. Let alone some random couple who was part of a big party we were having. The main reason is with two young kids you are just exhausted, your priorities change, staying up that late to drink is just usually not really something you want to do anymore.

I just find it interesting they seemed to have parties like that. The 911 call is an example of how they had a wide circle of people who had been in that house… maybe someone at one of these events overheard the door code?

I think it’s important to know who was or wasn’t living there. And BIL has got his dates of the call mixed up. He is saying the call was made years ago (how would he know this?)

Absolutely right when you say “people are different”. It amazes me how many people forget that simple statement and judge everyone by what they would do.

I still have 20 pages of the thread to go to catch up, but given Spencer's occupation, I'd be interested in looking over his work-related financial arrangements. Am I correct in understanding that he had been working at one dental practice (in Ashland) and subsequently moved to another? Did a substantial number of patients follow him as he transferred his practice? What were his financial arrangements at the one practice and then at the subsequent one? Were any funds due the previous practice?

I imagine that LE is carefully investigating all aspects of these two victims' lives. But besides robbery, a potential family matter, someone wanting access to drugs, etc., I'd certainly be looking into business relationships and potential related motives.

What does killing the couple, but not the children (heirs) accomplish? Do any arrangements become void upon the death of both Spencer and Monique?
