I confess I haven't read every page here. So has it been discussed if she may have been part of the so called "red head murders" thought to have been between 1978 and into the 1980s and possibly even the 1990s? The areas indicated where BG has been, by pollen and isotope testing seem to fit.. One or 2 were apparently not sexually assaulted. This is kind of a vague group of murders as LE not sure if all are same perpetrator

I am not reading too much into the jacket. There are a bunch of pics of my folks and their friends wearing jackets (handmade or store bought) like that in the early 70s. So I think maybe she just had a jacket like that lying around in a closet somewhere and brought it out to wear- maybe it was the right weight for the weather that day or something. Sometimes people dress "different" for no reason at all- they don't care about current fashion- they just have their own sense of style/comfort.

Yes, they were very popular during the 70's with young people. I think I even remember a picture of President Clinton wearing one, while he was in College. I had one myself. Mine was not handmade though.

Let's not jump to conclusions. Lets just be open to the details that porvn provided and keep trucking like we have been. If porvn is able to provide a photo at some point- great. If not, Denton is still in the target zone and it doesn't hurt to ask around for anyone who might remember a girl matching the description in early 1981.
