What area are they talking about specifically on FB. I couldn't find the street they mentioned. Sorry, not familiar with the area at all.

Green Valley Road runs closely with 229 in that area, so I'm guessing that's why they're mentioning that area. Maybe to do with the Kokosing River? I don't know... that's the only reason I can see for saying 229 and 3. But again, this could be a rumor by someone who has no idea that Green Valley doesn't intersect with 3. :-x

However, I will say that there is a Green Valley Design LLC, located on Harcourt Road (Route 3), right at the bend in the Kokosing River, west of Foundation Park.

MH's mother is hoping that he will open up to her:

The mother of Matthew Hoffman said on Tuesday that she was hopeful that her son would include her on his jail visitation list and open up to her, 10TV's Ashleigh Barry reported.

Later in the day, Hoffman's mother said that her son has always been extremely smart but often had difficulty connecting with others, including his older siblings. She said she had no knowledge of the case, nor any information about her son's relationship with Maynard or the three missing people, Barry reported.

Hoffman was known to frequent a Mount Vernon gym, and employees there said nothing about him seemed out of the ordinary.

"He usually stuck to himself and he was very quiet," said employee Carla Black. "But for the most part he was a really nice guy."

I live very close to Green Valley Road and haven't seen any vehicles or people out of the ordinary, but I am a few miles from Harcourt Road...

It just seems odd that a doctor would be feeding this info to a nurse who is then calling her friend from work. I would think HIPAA laws apply to the deceased as well???

Posted on FB ~ possible property owned by an M Hoffman at 9310 Laymon Road, which is very close to where Tina's truck was found

Does anyone have abilities to search and verify?

The owner of the property at 9310 Laymon Road is too young to be MH's father. It's more likely his older brother. I have the name of the owner and his wife.

In the county database, it shows that it was originally purchased on 6/2/97 by Patricia Hedglin. On 8/13/01, it was Quit Claimed to a trust in their names. On the property record, click "sale" tab to see info.

This matches up with the story of when they left Trumball County.

Thanks! It would appear that you are correct.

I feel bad for MH's mom! She is also a victim and must feel very confused and feel grief as well. I thought she was candid in the media article. IMO, a much different than many of the parents' of murderous children that we read about here at WS. I pray that he will open up to his mom or somebody and tell the truth. I also pray for strength for his mom and family. I mean, can you imagine?

Of course and as always, I am praying for the remaining 3 who are missing and their families along with prayers for healing for Sarah! I cannot imagine the fear that she must be feeling after her ordeal.

This unusual person, MH has some very real and frightening issues. MOO

Law enforcement officers and park rangers called off a search of the Pleasant Hill Lake area where they had been looking for three Knox County residents who have been missing since last Wednesday.

A ground, air and water search was initiated at about 10 a.m. after a vehicle matching one that the suspect might have had access to was spotted along the road leading to Mohican State Park Lodge.

As of 12:50 p.m., officials called off the search with nothing found.

question: what other vehicles did the perp have access to??? or "may have had access" to?

Facebook is again reporting they have been found :( I really hope it's not a hoax!!!!

Yes, it is on the south side of the road (under the marker). Notice the lake by it? Makes me go "hmmmm".

And thank you (and others) for the welcome!

The area this "rumor" speaks of would be near the rear entrance of Foundation Park and also the Kokosing River runs right along there as well.

Can you or someone post a Google map showing the area for those of us who are out-of-state and don't know the area? :)

hollye got another location for the map... fb poster says smalls sand and gravel in gambier has od and r boat coming in... and that (((rumor))) bell fountain landfill shut for something possibly found in a dumpster. I wasn't able to find the addy for the landfill for you but here is smalls sand and gravel

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sou...89312&sspn=0.011402,0.031328&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=16

It is rumor, but I didn't want to lose track of it. I cannot find the other location mentioned and have left off the Green Valley location, as I cannot confirm what the person was actually talking about, though I have an idea.

People on FB are kind of going nuts over there. I feel so bad for this town and the families of the missing.
