Green Valley Road runs closely with 229 in that area, so I'm guessing that's why they're mentioning that area. Maybe to do with the Kokosing River? I don't know... that's the only reason I can see for saying 229 and 3. But again, this could be a rumor by someone who has no idea that Green Valley doesn't intersect with 3. :-x
The mother of Matthew Hoffman said on Tuesday that she was hopeful that her son would include her on his jail visitation list and open up to her, 10TV's Ashleigh Barry reported.
Later in the day, Hoffman's mother said that her son has always been extremely smart but often had difficulty connecting with others, including his older siblings. She said she had no knowledge of the case, nor any information about her son's relationship with Maynard or the three missing people, Barry reported.
Hoffman was known to frequent a Mount Vernon gym, and employees there said nothing about him seemed out of the ordinary.
"He usually stuck to himself and he was very quiet," said employee Carla Black. "But for the most part he was a really nice guy."

Posted on FB ~ possible property owned by an M Hoffman at 9310 Laymon Road, which is very close to where Tina's truck was found
Does anyone have abilities to search and verify?
In the county database, it shows that it was originally purchased on 6/2/97 by Patricia Hedglin. On 8/13/01, it was Quit Claimed to a trust in their names. On the property record, click "sale" tab to see info.
This matches up with the story of when they left Trumball County.
Yes, it is on the south side of the road (under the marker). Notice the lake by it? Makes me go "hmmmm".
And thank you (and others) for the welcome!
The area this "rumor" speaks of would be near the rear entrance of Foundation Park and also the Kokosing River runs right along there as well.
I feel bad for MH's mom! She is also a victim and must feel very confused and feel grief as well. I thought she was candid in the media article. IMO, a much different than many of the parents' of murderous children that we read about here at WS. I pray that he will open up to his mom or somebody and tell the truth. I also pray for strength for his mom and family. I mean, can you imagine?
Of course and as always, I am praying for the remaining 3 who are missing and their families along with prayers for healing for Sarah! I cannot imagine the fear that she must be feeling after her ordeal.
This unusual person, MH has some very real and frightening issues. MOO
