Maybe this weekend Aja will be found! If anyone out there is hiding away Lester Hobbs, please know that he KIDNAPPED Aja, murdered her mother, and is not a parent of any kind to her. Aja's father is waiting with open arms for her to return. Please - don't believe a word Hobbs has to say. Please send Aja home!

But people are afraid of this guy- and sometimes they'll tip in, in a way that they think will deflect information away from themselves while still providing info.
So hey- let's take everything we get. Maybe the poster sold him hair dye at a Dollar Store, maybe saw him buying cigarettes at a convenience store, maybe saw him at a bar, maybe saw him at a rest stop. You know?

Ummm..... no, I didn't know. I never even thought about that. Very good point! So hopefully this tipster has been contacted and has given all the info they have on what they saw!

Hopefully this tipster has! (sorry, I did not mean to be so...vague.) I just wanted to point out that sometimes tipsters will 'tip'...but not completely honestly. KWIM?

I conversed with the lady and I totally believe the person she saw was in a hair salon having his hair dyed darker. Whether it was really Hobbs or not, well ???

I think he would more likely spend 7 or 8 bucks and do it from a box versus a higher expense and not to mention a public salon.

IMO, its hard to go on other peoples' impressions... But sometimes they do mean everything. I hope with everything I have that it was him, and that the poster actually called in by him/herself.

Michaellan, absolutely NO offense intended whatsoever, but desite Hobbs reputation for changing appearance etc (and I DO think he would shave facial fair) I don't see the salon thing, actually, at all. Maybe the person who posted was referring to one of the hundreds of hair places in that area that will trim or buzz for $5-$10?

Aja's dad said Hobbs dyed Aja's hair black on the tips. And LE found hair dye in his camper. I still can't figure out why he would dye Aja's hair, but he did this on his own. I'm with you, I highly doubt Hobbs would sit in public getting groomed. I bet whoever is stashing him away is helping him with appearances. MOO

I do believe that is exactly the type of place it is...and it is most likely in East Houston. I don't know Houston very well, but I also have a picture of who she may be talking about, but it is hard to tell. It is just a tiny pic of a face in a mirror.

ETA...Also if he is living on the streets "like a coyote" he might not have a place to dye his hair himself without someone noticing. kwim? I would think that would be noticed by other people in a homeless shelter or ymca or whatever.

Investigators said he's probably been hiding in the daylight hours and making moves at night.

"He's a scavenger moving from point to point," said deputy U.S. Marshal A.D. Templeton. "He may have laid there for a couple of days, then he's moved to the next point, traveling at night, just like a coyote."

Goss said someone may be helping Hobbs hide.

"Someone is hiding Hobbs in his own car or allowing Hobbs to stay with them. To this person or persons, I implore you to do what is right before it's too late," he said.
