bumping for Aja

Keep sending in the tips, guys!!! This baby needs to be found. If you have to call in follow-up tips, please do! Maybe we need to rework a list of contacts and have a sticky for that?

back up you go

  • #223
we have got to get this child home!!

  • #224
nurselady, yes we do! There are entirely too many people working behind the scenes for Aja to not be found. And it strikes me as extraordinarily sad that most of those people have no connection to the case other than to care about a beautiful 7 year old who has been STOLEN by a violent predator.
Bumping you up , baby.

Another week goes by without finding Aja - we here at Websleuth are not short on love and caring for her, but on the 'patience' side, it's getting a bit difficult. If anyone should see pretty little Aja, pronounced Asia - please call 1-800-THE-LOST!

Thanks to all those who have called in tips - and volunteered time to search.

Short on patience for sure....
Thanks eyes4crime.
Everyone, 1-800-THE-LOST is anonymous. So please do not worry about your own safety there.

Praying you are home soon, sweetie!

Another thought, folks- anyone out there with alumni associations or alma maters who stay in touch via facebook or similar? Can we get links to Aja's case out there on those?

  • #231
Ok, still throwing out ideas here, folks- we REALLY want to keep this case alive and get Aja back where she belongs. Ya'll remember the missing children campaign (Etan Patz) that began pics of missing children on milk cartons? What about a similar campaign with fast food companies such as McDonalds? The bags you get when you order your burger and fries could be printed with a missing child, even if it was just a small pic next to the advertisement of the company. How many people go through a drive through in America (and around the world) every day??
Does anyone have any contacts with any corporate level of a fast food chain? If not, we could start flooding them with mail....

James A. Skinner
President and C.E.O. of McDonald's Corporation
[SIZE=-1]1 McDonald's Plaza
Oak Brook, IL 60523

I know one of the local dairy's in a recent missing person case, donated to put their local missing man on their milk cartons for a few weeks. Perhaps we can target some OK and TX dairys and do some calling next week to see if we could get Aja's info on them.

Did you email the tip? If you do, I would resend it, with the "read receipt" turned on. Then, you will at least know that the tip was read.

Otherwise - call them back. Tell you called in a tip and you want to know what is happening with it. If they don't play nice, try to use the word "media" somewhere in one of your sentences, LOL. I don't mean to threaten them in any way with going to the media, just something that might get their attention.

I do believe they are working on this case - but it has to be OSBI's way or no way! All that aside, I think they are hesitant to release much info, because if Hobbs get wind of it, he will run.

I want that family to take the lie detector tests. I don't understand why they would refuse and it raises my hinky meter to high alert. There is no reason to refuse or to be talking to lawyers, is there?????? :furious::furious:

I want to reiterate calling back in on tips. I feel like there are a lot more tips going in than we think, or are aware of. It's not helpful when they're dismissed because certain LE already has in their mind what they think happened.

ETA: if there is LE out there that feels they know the situation with certainty then I personally would like to see evidence of either Aja or Lester Hobbs. How about a press release, Comanche County? This is your child- this could be your child, this could be ANYONE'S child....remember?

I have found most LE do not follow up or acknowledge tips unless they need further information from you.

I agree! They should be calling a press conference at least once a week, if only to say...."we haven't gotten in this many tips, the past week and are following up on them", show Aja's pictures, Hobbs, give a new nugget or two to make some news. This will help keep the public and the media focused on Aja and not let her be forgotten.

We have not had a new article or any media since the 5th of March and that was Hobb's family giving the interview.

p.s.
If you go to the "Shoot for the Stars" link in my sig and visit the website (the links are on the twitter page), it was started by a friend of mine, I am just helping her with the twitter part.
We are Shooting our Missing Persons to a new star every week, in hopes that they will help bring awareness to the missing.
The 15th we are sending letters to Christian Slater. (last target was Oprah).
You can print out Aja's flyer along with a letter, asking him to help get the word out about her. His contact addresses are on the website at the twitter link.

I know. My frustration grows by the minute. I wonder if peverted-justice.com would be interested in helping out, considering the info out there that "Hobb's will troll the internet for women" and that there were some allegations of abuse re: Aja. Any takers on that?

Thank you- we have flyers like crazy and will check out the Shooting Star aspect.
ETA: Will do- I just looked real quickly so did not check past celebs, but oh if we could hit up Disney Channel, Miley Cyrus, etc....especially w/missing children.
