Thanks for the updates everyone...I just got home and can't stomach reading everything yet, but appreciate your updates.

I am so very sad and heartbroken...and can't stop crying for our little girl! I pray that she was not tortured by this evil creature and better yet, that she was in a state of shock and unable to process his evil doings before....

Aja stole my heart, just like Shaniya. These two girls have helped me get through a very trying time recently (not cryptic, just don't care to rehash); they give me strength to fight; and I believe in my heart of hearts; that's their way of thanking me and many others here for fighting for them, when many of those who surrounded them on earth did not.

I have no idea what I will do tonight or in the morning as I have been sleuthing Paseo's, creeks, rivers, indian reservations, money trails, vehicle / RV trails, and everything else, just like so many others here...since January 24th; in hopes of bringing our girl home alive.

Have we heard from Oriah or Valhall? Since I haven't seen a post from them since this finding, I'm worried that they might have been on the ground and involved in today's search...in fact, I'm almost certain one of them was anyway.

I'm angry, very, very, angry right now and don't understand the selfishness, cowardly acts of this person who I refuse to call a man!

Aja sweetie, I hope you know how many people worked so hard to find you and while it's not what we hoped for, our goal was always to bring you home to your daddy...with your earthly and heavenly "daddy" honey, and will never, ever, ever experience hell on earth, again.

We cannot post right now. We knew we were looking for both a live or dead child, but my hope gets the better of me everytime...and then...it breaks me.
Sorry. Can't continue right now.

Brown said a note found inside the car. She did not go into details of what the note said exactly, but said it was somewhat of a suicide note.

"It does give us an idea of what happened, and what Hobbs was thinking at the time," Brown said.

Brown said the car had been there "weeks if not for a month or so," but investigators do not believe it had been there since Hobbs and Aja went missing in January

BBM above that is an interesting comment already from LE

I assume I'm not alone here. I don't give a flying f*** what Lester says happened. I don't care about his state of mind. NOTHING gives him the right to take away the life of a little girl.

Idaho:

You are not alone in this way of thinking.
I could give a chit less what a monster like him has to say to try to explain his actions. There is nothing in the world that could make what he did right.
He was a piece of carp. I'm assuming he's met oru maker by now and has been sent straight to H*L*! May he rot.

Jessica Brown, OK State BOI, on NG said not confirmed, but she understood, that he was found in the car; Aja outside of it. Did he kill himself and leave her to fend (unsuccessfully) for herself?

Right, I find this odd as well. Did little Aja escape the car and die after LH. I hope a COD can be determined. :(

NORMAN — J.J. Johnson had a strong premonition that his abducted 7-year-old daughter, Aja, was dead. On Monday, that premonition appeared correct. The decomposing bodies of an adult and child were found in a heavily wooded area near Lake Thunderbird. Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown said agents think the remains are those of Aja and her alleged abductor, Lester William Hobbs.

An OSBI agent came to the house and told me she couldn't positively tell me they had found Aja," Johnson told The Oklahoman as television crews gathered outside his south Oklahoma City home. "I said, 'I know it's her.' I saw her little jacket on the ground on TV.' We bought her a little blue jacket with orange lining for the winter.

"I know it's her."
Johnson, meanwhile, said the wait has been tortuous.

Neither has been seen since Jan. 23.

"We have no reason to think it is not those two people," Brown said at a news conference. "We do not know the cause and manner of death yet."

Agents have since suspected Lester Hobbs of fleeing Comanche County in that vehicle after killing his wife. An aerial view from a television helicopter showed the vehicle's in a patch of clearing in a wooded area not far from 108th Avenue SE, just north of State Highway 9. A dirt road trailed past the vehicle through the woods.

"An OSBI agent came to the house and told me she couldn't positively tell me they had found Aja," Johnson told The Oklahoman as television crews gathered outside his south Oklahoma City home. "I said, 'I know it's her.' I saw her little jacket on the ground on TV.' We bought her a little blue jacket with orange lining for the winter.

"I know it's her."

Brown described the bodies as being in "quite an extended state of decomposition," meaning fingerprints and dental records will used to make a positive identification. Authorities also found a note at the scene. While Brown declined to say what the note said, she added that "it does give us a glimpse of what was in Hobbs' mind at the time."

Johnson, meanwhile, said the wait has been tortuous.

"About three weeks ago, I started to suspect this," said Johnson, who received sole custody of Aja after a court order in October. "As a parent, you have this fire in you that burns for your kid, and that fire went out.

"I just knew that gutless man would end up killing Aja and then himself. I've known all along that he was a coward. All he does is hurt women and children. He'd never go after a real man."

Norman officers had previously investigated at least one lead that Hobbs and the child had been spotted in Cleveland County. But Newell said, "It was not enough information to lead to anything." Hobbs reportedly lived in Norman and may have been familiar with the area where his car was found, both Newell and Brown said.

"I just can't believe this has happened," Johnson said. "I'm numb."

I saw some of this on NG tonight. It's so sad to lose another little one so soon.
I missed how the car was discovered. Were they searching in the area? I think Aja came down to guide the way.. Her work is done now. May she rest in peace.
