Go through their gang's instagrams and their statigrams, read the comments, look at the hashtags. Most, if not all, of their gang can be found by pulling up their statigram hashtags. Their pictures of them all together are all over these accounts, I'm talking a lot of pics and all references to Crips right there in their area as well as neighboring areas. The neighborhood they run is 2nd & E Main.

I'm fairly certain that #5 refers to ongoing activity, not one incident.

So, yes, according to the Federal standards that identify a group as a gang.

One incident??? They shot and killed a dog, shot and killed a jogger who was minding his own business and planned and threatened to killing a friend because this young man would not join their gang. Plus one member was already in trouble with the law. Their activities were ongoing when they were caught because they did not discard the gun, they hid it in the engine compartment. I think they more than qualified for a gang no matter what they called themselves. jmo

A female member of Faith Church in Duncan recalled later that he'd told her, "I can't go to your church anymore because my god is black."

"I don't understand. God, I wish I could have just got to him," Danielle Crudup, 20, said of her little brother, whose full name is James Francis Edwards Jr. "I tried to talk and talk and talk to him, and it just seemed like he wouldn't listen."
