Jeez, not again...

  • #22
wonèt be long till they are caught and will be going down for murder charges as well
the children will have justice as long as they donèt take the cowardly way out

  • #23
His charges may be going to a Grand Jury (which would explain the delay)... Maybe, they are seeking Capital Murder charges?? Surviving kids may have witnessed something and were able to tell??
I think all Capital cases go before a Grand Jury. Some states/counties go through a Grand Jury for all homicide related charges. But, who knows, maybe they just do not know what to charge him all with at the moment.
I see what you're saying but if that is the case then the reporting here is as bad as it gets because they are saying a warrant was issued in Jackson County OK on June 10 for failure to appear on the child abuse and neglect charges. He's either been charged or not, KWIM?

Maybe the other kids are old enough to tell them where the baby is? Assuming they survive and are in a condition to do so.

Investigators Offering $10K Reward For Altus Couple Wanted On Child Abuse, Neglect Charges
[...]

News 9 is not identifying the business, because it is not involved in the case.

The sources who worked alongside Moore and Alexander said they never suspected abuse or neglect.

[...]

According to the above source, he knew the couple planned on taking a trip to see family in early June.

At the time, nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

“They were going to see their new baby. The new baby was with, I believe, Robin's mother,” he said.

But later, the couple didn’t show up for work. They have also deactivated Facebook and their phone was disconnected. That employer said he called the couple’s former attorney, who allegedly said he never knew that Robin was pregnant. They believe that is the “undocumented” baby mentioned by law enforcement.

There was another item that seemed strange to the couple’s former boss. The Facebook post mentioned that “the fourth child was located deceased.”

However, those who knew Moore and Alexander said they had lost a child, but it was about two years earlier.

“Had a seizure in the bathtub, and when she got to the hospital, she was medi-flighted to OU and during that medi-flight is when she passed away,” said the former employer.

[...]

Wednesday, July 3 police said the investigation regarding the December 2017 death is still under investigation.

However, the affidavits provided detail an investigation from September 2018. One affidavit stated that three of the juvenile children had signs of abuse.

According to investigators, there were “wounds that were now scars”, and that it “appeared to be ongoing.” They also said that two younger children were underweight and malnourished.

Again, those who know the couple dispute that.

A coach who taught one of the children Jiu Jitsu, said she never saw any indication that the child was being abused. In fact, she said Alexander even attended some of the classes.

[...]

She was under the impression that the current court proceedings were going in favor of the couple.

However, she said that’s what Moore and Alexander told her.

So help me understand. These charges are from last year. The children were surely in critical condition last year, not today? Please don’t tell me this is another DHS failure?

Did they have the baby born in a hotel last year?

Yeah... I'm not convinced that "showing up to jiu jitsu classes", indicates anything more about the father's parenting style other than that he liked the classes, which one would find logical for a man.

I also don't think "coworkers" can be counted upon to know much about their fellow workers; other than that said people are capable of functioning in whatever type of job scenario they are capable of functioning in; thus aren't meth/crack addicts or similar. There are such things as "high-functioning alcoholics/addicts"; and there certainly have been male doctors, police officers, etc., who were revealed to be guilty of domestic abuse, much to the surprise of many of their peers. I'm more suspicious that CPS (?) analyzed the 3 older kids as showing signs of consistent abuse.

Even the poor child "seizing in the bathtub" and later dying... isn't that what was determined probably happened to Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston's daughter? The idiot(s) who was with her when she was on a bad drug trip, thought they could revive her by dumping her into a cold bathtub? Nothing about the above story *that we know*, tells us the fourth child died of natural causes or even had a history of epilepsy. Maybe nobody ever did an autopsy, and took these parents' word. What about the "Munchausen moms" who killed more than one child before anyone caught on? I'd like to hear perspectives from some different people who knew them other than "coworkers", frankly.

We have a ton of missing pieces. Roughly...

Sept 6, 2018 - OK DHS went to their home in regard to "signs of physical abuse on the three minor children.” The three children were treated and released from medical care, according to APD.

Sept 10, 2018 - HMM was charged in Jackson Co OK with obstructing an officer (a misdemeanor).

Sept 11, 2018 - HMM and RA were both charged with two counts of child abuse by injury and 3 counts of child neglect.

June 10, 2019 - Warrants were issued for HMM and RA for FTA, bond set at $300,000.00 in each case.

THEN:

Oklahoma Couple Wanted by Police After 1 Child Is Found Dead, 3 in Critical Condition, & 1 Missing
[...]

It was around that time that the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and the United States Marshals were called on to provide additional assistance with the search.

During the investigation, police said they located three of Moore and Alexander’s children in Oklahoma. The children were listed in critical condition, but are currently in the state’s custody. It was not immediately clear when the children were found.

They later located a fourth child who had sadly died and authorities are now searching for the fifth. According to police, the last child was believed to be born in a hotel room with no documentation, making the identification process incredibly difficult.

$10,000 reward offered in search for parents missing after child neglect claims
[...]

The parents, who had a child who died in 2017 and three who were removed from the couple's custody when officials discovered the children were malnourished, failed to appear in court last month in a child neglect case from 2018.

The child's December 2017 death remains under investigation, Altus, Oklahoma, police department said in a statement Wednesday. St. Louis police have said three of the couple's children are in the custody of the state of Oklahoma.

[...]

Altus police said it got involved in the child abuse investigation in September 2018. An Altus police detective told NBC affiliate KFOR of Oklahoma City that police were called about three children who suspected of being abused.

Court documents indicate that when police searched the couple’s home that month, officers found a "very limited amount of food," the station reported.

The documents say the children, who were were 10 months to 4 years old, were "malnourished due to child neglect by means of starvation,” KFOR reported.

[...]

Detectives believe they fled the Altus area May 1, and that the fifth child was born around May 2, the Oklahoma police department said.

[...]

"Help us get them taken into custody and find the child and make sure the health, welfare of the child is in good shape," Altus police Detective Colby Earls told KFOR.

[...]

@Amonet, this article mentions the age of the children. They were just babies. :(

So, if I am understanding this correctly, the one dead child and three that were in critical condition are situations from months to years ago. That would mean that there is only one child potentially with them that was born in a hotel room a day after they left town.

The initial news stories from yesterday were creating a different perception.

These two have a 62 day head start and could be anywhere.

Stop monetarily rewarding people for having children they don't deserve.

Yes, the first reports said they were being sought after three of their children were found in critical condition, one was found dead and a fifth is missing. While that is technically true, LE wouldn't say when the child was found deceased or when and where the three other children were found. I think some news outlets took some liberties in reporting when the events occurred and it has definitely been confusing. MOO

Thank you for this timeline. I would add that this news article ($10,000 reward offered in search for parents missing after child neglect claims) said that the parents had failed to appear at a hearing last month for the 2018 child neglect case.
