From The Eufaula Indian Journal Jan. 9, 2014 written by Jerry Fink quoting the hunter (Tim Graham ) that found skelton remains.

The skeletons were on top of the ground, but sunk a little bit into the soil from being there so long Graham said, they had settled into the ground face down. All I could see was the back of their heads. He said there were three skulls one big one a smaller one and a small one. The big one had a hole on the top of the head. Graham said lawmen tried to tell him it could have been from a coyote, aint no coyote did that said Graham. I rolled it over with my foot and saw the eye socket I called to Sherri and said I found a human skull she came up and sure enough it was a human skull, she took a step and found a femur bone I glanced to my right an found another one , Sherri says lets get the hell out of here, my wife took off down the first hill and found another one. The skeltons were about 75 years from the road,It was in a wooded area by golly a trail went right to it.

I would love to be able to read the article when it becomes available.

I am glad that this person has come forward with some information. I wonder if they were familiar with the missing Jamison family case? It must have been terrible for he and his wife to come across this grisly scene. Prayers to them both.

It's interesting that a trail went right to the site. I wonder if it was a man/machine made trail or one made by animals? Deer will make a path/trail over time. I don't know about other animals. I wonder if the trail was wide enough for a four-wheeler?

Sounds like the bones were scattered pretty widely which would suggest animals scattering the remains. I wonder if all or how many bones were recovered? That could make a difference in the time it takes to identify them or find a cause of death? How far out did LE search in their attempt to recover any bones? I remember when they were searching for the rest of Caylee's bones, it was using a grid pattern that was quite intensive.

I can't tell if the three skulls were close together or not? Face down sounds sinister. I also wonder if they had been buried in a shallow grave which was uncovered over time by animals and weather?

Too many questions.

The "trail went right to it" is interesting. What kind of trail? Animal or vehicular?

Wish he would give a size indication on that hole.

That he saw the back of all three skulls makes me think that they were together, but face down. Maybe they were lined up beside each other?

Here's the article from the Indian Journal

Wow. Thanks for sharing. I agree with the guy about the hole in the head. He knows what he saw and what he thinks, so I agree with him.

I did find it strange that he mentioned he carried the nephew. If the age was right in the article, the nephew was 14. Why would he carry him unless they panicked and he grabbed him and took off.

I would have panicked for sure myself.

At this point, I have to think foul play based on the descriptions. Murder/suicide is still a possibility too, but I am leaning towards foul play based on the dog left in the vehicle. If any of them planned murder/suicide, I think they would have offed the dog and not let it just sit in the car and possibly starving to death. They knew the area was somewhat remote, so there would not be the thought that someone would find the dog quickly, so I am going with foul play.

Im kind of leaning back to one of the theories I had mentioned about running into some people in that area that were either cooking meth OR just considered that land their personal "spot" and if the Jamesons made the mistake of telling them they were considering buying the property, the people they ran into may have thought to themselves....."no you are not".

Just one of the theories I have had for awhile.

There was speculation and discussion about the possibility of two containers of money. Money that was split between Bobby and Sherilyn, his share being in the bank bag hidden under his seat and hers being in the satchel. LE found the money under the seat but the satchel was not found in the truck.

This would no doubt provide a motive if they ran into someone who noticed a 2nd satchel of cash if one of them had it on them. They would never imagine there was more in the truck.

This may have been discussed already, but were there any homes/cabins within walking distance of their truck. If so, I would not outrule the possibility that they knocked on a door and had a "neighborly" discussion that ended up making the owner become the perp because he did not want neighbors moving in OR noticed a 2nd satchel of cash one of them was carrying.

One skull had a hole in the head..
If it was Bobby's then I still think this could fall in line with a sexual predator. Get rid of Bobby first and fast, then keep the girls. I certainly hope this is not the case but I don't think it could be excluded. If it was murder, the killer chose to kill one of them differently with a head shot. Why?

If it was robbery, kill all three fast with same method, no reason to differ what works. Same thing goes if they happen to walk up on a drug operation. IMO

OT, I know, but I agree that was strange. I went back to check the age when I read that to see if I misunderstood.

As far as the satchel, my thoughts are if the second $32k hasn't been accounted for, then it is very possible that it is a robbery and the satchel/briefcase is gone. A predator wouldn't have known to look for a second stash of money. We can't deny how outspoken and open he was with strangers regarding buying the land and their plan with the container, so who knows who all was aware of the money. Makes sense in my head, anyway.

"Ain't no coyote did that."

Wow.

All three face down, and a hole in one skull -- yet supposedly no foul play??

That makes it sounds like they were a little further apart than I thought. Interesting. Face down. I'm not sure if that rules out anything, but in my mind, it would make it seem less likely they just succumbed to the elements after getting lost.
Agreed. People who die of hypothermia tend to curl up in a fetal position.

LE has to be keeping something quiet. They couldn't be THAT incompetent. ...I hope.

Something I noticed in the article was the wife taking off down the trail and then yelling, "I found another one." This indicates to me that the bodies were not lined up in a row.

Regarding the hole in the skull, I considered the possibility of the cranial sutures separating and allowing a piece of the skull to come loose and fall out after four years of decay in the open air. Spent quite a bit of time googling, but couldn't turn up anything to indicate whether this is something that's known to happen with skeletal remains. So I just don't know.

At first, the hole in the skull didn't really seem all that alarming to me. After 4 years in such a densely wooded area with known wildlife around, and being unburied, it would make sense that the fragments would start to fall apart over time, as I'm sure Mother Nature hasn't been gentle with them. But after doing a search online as well, I'm not seeing anything that makes me think one way or another on this. I wish we had more info from Mr. G to understand what exactly he saw that would make him think "ain't no coyote did that." Was it more like a gut feeling, intuition thing? Or did it not appear to be a natural break? KWIM?

In the article it said that he and his family went there annually since 2000.
"I got my biggest trophy buck up there in 2001." "So we decided to go up and see if we could find some old bucks running the same path."
Meaning they've been on the same path annually? Think they would have seen the bones before now?? I wish the article would have specified just how small the small one is. I have a sister that's 3' 11'' that's 35 yo and looks 13.
Also, if the ME said 6 months or more, why they don't see this as higher profile and move it ahead of some of the others they're behind on?

I found something else interesting. Checked out people in the area that had the same last name as KB (the "boarder") and there were some that had been charged/convicted of lewd or indecent proposals/acts with a child and another with procure/produce/distribute/possess child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. One with the same last name lives near Bristow. All may not be related but some have same coloring as KB. Just throwing that out there.

Yesterday NS posted on FTJ FB page that she has spoken with the the ME again, and it may take another 6 months or longer to ID them :(

Sorry I haven’t read through all the posts here but am familiar with the case. Why is it going to take so long to ID them? The McStay family’s remains were found in November and it took approx. 3 days to identify them. I don’t understand.

No dental records, and no teeth left to compare with dental records to anyway. Waiting in line for DNA testing.

I don’t think they had dental records for the McStay children but they were identified via DNA the week after being found. Obviously they must’ve pushed them to the top of the list to get DNA results back so quickly. It’s too bad this isn’t the case with this poor family, I’d especially like to know if that sweet young girl is still alive or not. Cases involving children really get to me.
