I was able to see the gas was at just under 3/4's.

The ashtray in the truck is in a weird location so I guess the cup this would fix that. I couldnt do it , gross.. Going over the pictures again I still see no signs of a dog being in the truck for a week.

How old was maizy? I recently got a pup who is about 6 months now.I cannot leave him alone in a locked room with him finding something to tear up. Napkins.. That bag of popcorn on the dash would have been gone the cup in th ashtray straw out and chewed up the cup on the drivers side floorboard chewed into a million pieces.

I will also take a second to tell you about my dog. I got him at 3 months and have trained him to stay, sit ,high five ,both paws. roll over ,speak , walk on a leash , taught him to stay in the yard (he will not step onto pavement even to follow me unless leashed ). I house broke him and if I left him in a car stryo cups and paper he would behave as a dog, AND do doggie things. One of which would be chew that cooler all to hell. Those chips would have been being eyeballed the entire time I was in the car and the minute the dog couldnt see me.. well they would be gone . And I doubt they had Maizy dog trained as well as my Jack is now. Small dogs jump and a hungry Maizey would have got that bag.

So the state of the truck doesnt reflect a week long unwatched dog.
Reused fastfood cups.
A planned trip.

And it was topped up shortly before the trip to RedOak and should have had more gas in it that it does. They never made the return trip so the truck should have been slighty OVER 3/4 and not under . So it does appear there are 45 or so miles not accounted for ..if they topped off and etc..etc.. (to variable imo.)

Great job on reading the gas gauge, soul! Also, great job on training your pup! Can I send you my 7 month old chug to train?

I've been reading alot about the former District Attorney from Pittsburg county. Some of the comments I read said he was into supplying illegal drugs. He is from Porum.

There is a small airfield near Lake E ,.. I was wondering if the boat was being used to pull drugs from across the lake .. I didnt get anywhere with that butt I didnt get into sarching it too much because I found something else to look into.

Can yu link the comments because I might have looked into the airfeilds more had I heard this.

I would lov to train your chug, but I honestly just think I got lucky with this dog.

This diehard smoker will not go anywhere without my smokes!
(Cough-cough-cough.) I'd rile you up further, but I dip snuff like a fiend and thus cannot judge another's tobacco habits!

Thanks for not getting me riled up. I feel bad enough as it is! My brother was diagnosed with stage 4 throat cancer a few weeks ago. It has my head spinning!

I'm beginning to think the Jamisons were never on that mountain. Something happened to them in Porum. I think whoever took them, dumped the truck on the mountain.

I still haven't found out who told LE the Jamisons were looking at land.

Yes, after re-introducing the name into my vocabulary, Porum has become my latest favorite "key" to the case! (This makes it about my 20th "it must have something to do with this" object of affection.) They could simply have gone the Porum way because they liked it, of course. No accounting for taste - but it does appear to be a hardscrabble, mean-looking little town (even for Oklahoma).

Here is a follow-up from the drug bust that JackAMW posted:

Another article about the drug bust. Apparently, they were running a chop shop:

Very interesting Little ,one post reminded me of back when we were talking about real estate schemes.

I wish I had not of had to dump my hard drive those 3 times. I lost all the real estate stuff I had ,but I was planning to look to see who holds the largest amounts of real estate in certain places in Oklahoma and who backed them, which was an inspired thought due to Holland real estate (search term Holland on WS) who also happened buy and sell guns and attend gun shows. Had a tool truck route..might of attended the gun show where the gun used in the placker murder was sold... and on and on ....somewhere in there I scared myself with nagging thoughts of stuff being alot larger than we think.

Sorry to hear about your brother. I am dealing with horrible news as well.

I'd judge ya'll like crazy, cause tobacco takes too many much too soon, and I love you guys! But I want to pump for info so I'll keep my opinions to myself. Besides, we all have our addictions. ;)

So- serious question now- little, would you venture out of your vehicle for an hour or two to view property without a pack of cigarettes? Would you be smoking while walking around? If so, would you be tossing cigarette butts on the ground, or putting them in an empty bottle or something like that? Would you be returning to your vehicle if, say, you ventured out with 3 or 4 left in a pack- and knew there was another full pack or three in your vehicle?
wfgodot- how far would you go with say half a tin of dip? Would you spit while wandering around, or would you wait till you got back to your vehicle and then spit in a cup or bottle or whatever?

Trying to trace anything that may have been in the area of the truck back to the Jamisons- and anything that might not have been completely tainted by locals and LE with the same habits.

TIA if ya'll are willing to share.

Spitting while wandering around is one of my favorite pastimes. I think I speak for many in OK on this!

As for the "half a tin of dip" question, as the product can be found in a variety of convenience marts scattered near and far in this state, I'd leave home knowing that there's always a snuff pusher easily found ahead. (* this basic philosophy may also be the case for OK meth addicts, but some restrictions apply there).

So if they topped off both days and went red oak both days the first day would have been burned and then replaced so we can assume the gas useage based on what the two different totals were assuming both days trip were to the same area and the truck was full each time. I suspect that like my it actual holds gas way past where it says full and I actualy have a quarter more of a tank it If truely fill it in which case there could be an extra 100 miles reflected in that just under 3/4 of a tank sitting on the mountain.

Just thinking outland really. I am going to fill my truck up this week and watch exactly how much gas I use. It wont show us exactly but I think it might help.
I get better gas milage if I keep it past full ,so Bobby might of too.. Really we could ask the new owner of the truck about its gas usage couldnt we?

Soul, I wasn't joking way back when- when I said I tested this dog theory out. And I mean TESTED, lol. With all nine that we had at the time, and a pet chihuahua and a random friends' dog as well. I was so doubtful, I was willing to sacrifice the interior of one of the trucks. (Which kinda happened.)

I know ya'll are tired of hearing about the 'dog-in-the-truck-for-ten-days' theory...but it has never worked for me. Never. No way.
And that's not because a small dog couldn't survive, imo.
It's the combo of the small dog surviving, not eating available food, and not destroying the vehicle either destructively, in an attempt to get out, or by waste products.

O/T- Soul- I am sorry to hear that you are also going through a tough time. <<Hugs>>

Yeah- that's what I thought. Same is true in my neck of the woods.
I wonder who had a specific tobacco preferance, during the initial response and searches.

Thank you for all your prayers, for my brother.

Question: #1) No, I would not leave my car without my smokes. #2) I try not to smoke while I walk. I would never smoke in the woods. #3)I always pick my butts up and put them in my pocket. #4) I don't go far without a full pack of smokes. If I only took 3 or 4 smokes with me, I would expect to be right back. No more than an hour.

Oh, heck, on wfg.....I know he spits anywhere!!!LOL!!! Most men do!!!

Prayers for you and yours, soul!!

Very soon, the Jamison's thread will be moved to the Missing But Not Forgotten discussion forum. Don't lose them! There will be a redirect for a while, but after that, you can find them in that forum.

BBM: I would be walking around with my cigarettes in my pocket. I'd butt it out on the ground. I'd take the full pack with me if I knew I'd be gone on a long walk.

Just gets worse and worse.

The Jamison's were last seen on Oct 9th, 09 and Carina was reported missing oct 10, 11. 10/10/11.

The reported witnessing of the murder of Carina ,makes me wonder about the picture of Madyson and what she was seeing when the photo was snapped.

Where did you get October 10? This says September 28. I was just wondering if I missed something. Do you think the 2 cases are related in some way?
