About a year ago?, I read an article from a local paper that described the very bizarre behavior of Bobbie Jamison. I can find it at this time, but I don’t have a subscription, so I can’t read all of this old article now.?????
The demons ... other then that I havent seen any evidence of schizophrenia ,or paranoira.
It isnt paranoira if someone really out to get you.. and it does appear someone got them. past drug issues ,no mention of anyone having evidence of current drug issues I have seen. Starr installed the camera (so that is her paranoira not theirs)
I might be overlooking some issues or signs of the condition you describe because it is not my feild so could you explain, being specific about Bobby's symptoms and how they displayed themself in what we do know their actions were that day? It might help us consider expanded possibilites.

From this article, Bobby was exhibiting very bizarre behavior including moving his family into some type of storage box near his home and spray painting “warnings” to demons on his new home, the storage box. He lost weight and was asking preachers about methods to kill the demons (he was hallucinating that the demons were attacking or going to hurt him).
Paranoid schizophrenics are usually NOT violent. When drugs/alcohol are added to the equation though, their tendency to become violent dramatically increases.
Some have suggested that perhaps he had an opioid addiction r/t his chronic back pain/surgery and perhaps his bizarre behavior was related to this, but opioid addiction do not usually present themselves like paranoid schizophrenia. Many people with chronic pain drink heavily, but alcohol addiction doesn’t present itself with schizophrenic symptoms either. Long- term, heavy drinkers can have alcoholic encephalopathy (Wernecke- Korsakoff Psychosis) and experience bizarre symptoms (confusion/memory loss), but not usually hallucinations.
Many schizophrenics do have a duel diagnosis (a mental health problem and a substance abuse problem).
