I found one outside of Rattan, OK- but not sure if its actually named that or is local slang for an area just southwest of there. :waitasec:

What's the context? TIA.

Would you be so kind to give coordinates or a map link for either of your guesses please? Im curious, plus, hoping it will jog the old brain as to where I saw that reference. TIA

I should have said northwest. I *think* it's somewhere in the vicinity of 34.14.34.86N/95.29.22.44W

But again- no idea if that's just local slang or not. There are a LOT of 'Holla's' in OK!

Hope it helps jog your memory of context.

Uhhh, just did a quick little social media check on Latimer County. Wowza. Anyone want to help me out by looking for MSM links? I don't know quite what to make of it. TIA if anyone has the time.

Oriah, I'm not quite sure which links you want. I know everyone's favorite, "Topix" has a thread going in the Wilburton forum, about the guys running for sheriff. Some of it is quite interesting!

It sure is!
Any links to MSM about the sheriff runoff? TIA if you've found anything, little.

While looking for articles on the upcoming Latimer County Sheriffs election, I found this article written in January 2012. Not everyone has forgotten about the Jamisons:

Thanks, little. I'm still:laughcry: over the topix thread regarding the sheriff situation. Mostly crying. :(

Anyway... that article reminded me of something for some reason. Does anyone want to help revisit something that has bothered me to no end, which is the discrepancy between Madyson's last seen clothing report to LE and NCMEC of a pink long sleeve shirt and jeans, and the alleged famous last pic taken of Madyson and alleged to be found on Bobby's phone in a short sleeve shirt fitting the same description (minus sleeve length) and jeans?

If someone went so far as to specify sleeve length...how or why would they get it wrong? And if LE is using the cell pic as last seen... why not clarify that it was a short sleeved shirt?
Not important? Maybe.
But it has bugged me.

Please share your theories on why this occurred.

Please share your theories on why this occurred.

I have several theories- ranging from accidental typos, to incorrect last seen witness accounts, to intentional misrepresentations.

But mostly the one thing that I can't get past is that if I had a child in my life that I deeply loved, go missing... I would want complete consistancy in the reporting of their last seen physical description, as well as location. I'd probably be fanatical about it, actually. If there were no witnesses able to give a description, I'd go with a time stamped photo that showed that child at roughly that same time.

But most troubling to me? Is why no one bothered to secure that specific clarification. And who gave the initial description of the long sleeve shirt?

YES!!! WHO...gave the last description??? My thought is, the guy who saw the Jamisons go up the mountain!

Was it the guy? Or was it PC? Or both? Neither?

I don't know, Oriah. I didn't think PC saw them.

I find myself wondering sometimes if maybe there really could be something other worldly or supernatural involved here. When I lived in that area I saw all kinds of weird things I couldn't explain. And I mean, if you believe in God is really that much more far fetched to believe that something not of this earth could have happened to this family?

Curious why you think that?

Supposedly, Bobby and PC had phone conversations (mtrooper). But I don't remember reading that they met. Maybe I just missed it.

As time goes on, I'm beginning to think the Jamisons knew the man with the shipping container. There is some connection there!

Also, the people who were selling the land, the ones in Florida (M_ _ _ _ W), don't exist. There is no one by that name listed on the public land records.

All of the land information (GPS, coords., directions,....etc.), could have been written after the Jamisons left home.

I see. But doesn't it seem odd that PC is listed as someone who will show the property? But it was initially presented as just a 'favor' to the owners? No financial compensation? But then PC calls the SO several times? And then the neighbor is the one who gave the last seen description?
Idk. Something is very odd to me about all of that.
This is not any accusation of PC or neighbor at ALL.
Just trying to figure out who reported what, and when. And why details may have become so confused.

Does that make any sense?

I think Sheriff Beauchamp was right when he said his #1 suspect was DC,( the guy with the shipping container). (per mtrooper). There is just no way to search his property without him doing something wrong.

I also feel this is why the dog stayed alive so long. DC, was feeding her! He couldn't exactly take her home, in case the sheriff stopped by!

Liora, I do believe in the supernatural. But, that is not what happened to the Jamison family.
