A check of the many pictures on the Facebook FtJ site revealed no one writing anything, so I couldn't tell. My default mode remains, "Good question! but I don't know."

Thank you for checking wfgodot- perhaps someone from the Facebook site will chime in and clarify this for me. ;)

Good afternoon!May I ask a couple of questions?
1.Was the truck initially gone over for fingerprints to see if there was any prints other than theirs?(probably a silly question but couldn"t resist) DNA?

2.I believe it was muddy or had been a rainy spell so what kind of dried mud was in the truck or stuck underneath? If they met with foul play somewhere else on the mountain and the truck was moved to where it was found someone most likely with muddy boots or shoes had to have brought it there.

3.My line of thinking is that, there could be a different kind of mud or soil at the other location. The different mud or soil could be a clue as to another location that should be searched!!!The well location may have been a red clay and sticky soil type where it had been dozed and leveled another place the truck had been might have been for example black gumbo or sandy loam!(Thinking out loud here). The weather like it had been there had to be some sort of dried mud in the floorboard of the truck!

I think there are a few posts much earlier about this subject somewhere but I don't recall offhand how far back.

However, IIRC all soil involved was consistant with the location the vehicle was located at.

The (non) existent parent in me says a mother or teacher could weigh in on this. I think usually it's pretty obvious by kindergarten or 1st grade what the preference is for. So that would be ideal. We can hope, right! ;)

Mr. "I've Graded Six Ba-Zillion Student Essays" here could tell from a handwriting sample. Lefties are more memorable just because there are fewer of them.

I haven't read anything on the Jamisons FB page about "rightie" or "leftie."

Was the paperwork with the Parker Jones brochure, Parker Jones related? Hope this makes sense.

Actually I hadn't thought about that because I wasn't coming at this from the traditional standpoint. But now that you mention it......I'll look at that too.

I was coming at it from the empty holster and how people usually carry.

Conjecture alert!!!

Question for teacher of 6 bazliion student essays:

Can you tell those who are lefties, righties, and ambies not only by writing style but by hitting baseballs, catching flyballs, serving in volleyball, drawing a weapon, pointing a weapon at a particular side of someones head, fingers most used in these circumstances (i.e. index, middle etc-writing style between lefties and righties and pulling triggers....?)

Thanks for any thoughts on this. I, of course have my own, lol.

Deeming them most special, right? (hehe, pun unintended) ;)

All kidding and seriousness aside, do you really think you can tell a leftie from a rightie by a handwriting sample?

Off the wall here, but what if Madyson "did it" because of being forced into that too small top and maybe being hungry and thirsty and her dog's in the truck and the sun is in her eyes and someone wants to take her picture?

I think I just channelled Madyson. :(

Cazzie, you didn't channel Mady, you channelled me. ;)

I think we *might* be safe from Madyson being the perp here.

I've seen some strange things happen, and am frequently reminded that just when I think I've seen it all, I haven't.

But real live firearms are heavy for 6 year olds and in my experience, they are sadly excellent at accidents involving one person- but not two.

I am a lefty, I do not write holding my pencil in the odd way left handed people sometimes hold the pencil. I hold mine just like a right handed person except in the other hand. I do not slant my letters like they say left handed people do What other clues are there? Other then the smudges from felt tipped pens?

Well...if you were to, say, wear a firearm at most times...what side of your belt/pants would you wear it on? What hand would you pull it with?

Like most people, I hate being stereotyped.

Soul...have you considered the idea that you are ambi? lol ;)

I was serious, about channelling how Madyson felt.

And kidding about she "did it". Just to clarify things. ;)

I think most do. But firearms training is typically specific to rightie's/lefties.

Sorry if you misunderstood what I was saying there....truly just asking what as a lefty would fall easiest.

Gotcha. No confusion there for me. Sorry. I tend toward the sarcastic way more than I should.

No, I didn't misunderstand what you said.
