From what I gathered the ski lodge is about 5 miles away from where the truck was found. Here is a little more info:
http://www.undergroundozarks.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=26844

That was an interesting forum, especially when you look at the dates being way before the Jamisons were missing.

I don't know how anyone works with coordinates, but it does mention the ones where the lodge was intended to be -
35° 2'33.82"N
95° 3'58.64"W

Thanks for posting the cords, watcher. I was hoping Oriah would stop in and let us know how to enter them in Google. I don't think the capital A, with the "thingy" over it is how to enter it.

And yes, it was a good read!

And, in Oklahoma news this a.m., two men dead seven miles north of Hartshorne, about thirty miles southwest of our area of interest. "We are not sure how they died," said LE apologist Jessica Brown, which, as we know, is OSBI lingo for, "This is another one we can't figure out." Bodies were sent to the state medical exmainer's office - please, no laughing when I mention these state agencies!

These youtubes aren't new and have probably already been posted, but I just saw them yesterday:

TV news almost 2 weeks after disappearance (on location + aerial view)
TV news 2 weeks after disappearance (also on location + aerial view)

tribute (photo montage, photos of Sherilyn pregnant, old photos of Madyson, stills of the location, warning: music)

The territory sure looks (gulp!) daunting, to say the least. Very beautiful, though.

Ok, that didn't work right.

If you know how to do Google maps, type in +35.23382 -95.35864, for the ski resort.

Type +35.006097 -95.200653 for the Jamisons truck.

I think we should officially refer to it as "the abandoned, haunted ski lodge" - makes the narrative of our tale more interesting, fits in with "Robbers Cave State Park," etc. etc.

The yellow light makes more sense now as I forgot about the gas station! He may have needed it for some sort of road service.(Very Likely).I hope I didn"t make anyone mad with my stupid yellow light comment yesterday!!

Heck no, C-Bar! We don't get mad here. We get even!

If I remember correctly, the Jamisons hadn't owned the truck for very long. I also read in the beginning that the truck belonged to Sherilyn. I'm pretty sure that was a statement from Sherilyn's mother.

Ha-Ha Thanks Little!!!Having messed around with the cords it looks as though it would take well over an hour to cover the 30 or so miles from where the Haunted Resort is to where the truck was found. Some of the roads or pig trails were unknown!!!

Haha , No the yellow light is stupid. So is stalling out in the road. I cannot express to you the number of times I have felt like an idiot while puttered out in the middle of a turn with my flashing yellow light. Or the number of times other people turn it on for the hll of it anywhere. Nothing like a flashing yellow light while getting your 99 cent cheese burger at McDee's like a modern day hamburgerlar.

My truck also came with all sorts of extra's like a CB hook up . Dual batteries.
Sidemount search lights (which are awsome)
And a jousting rod on the top . I wonder if the Jamison's truck came with CB junk in it.

My maps are moody and not working today. ugh..

"A jousting rod?" You sound like you're ready for combat, soul!!

That's a very good question about the CB radio, though.

It was realy an antenna. I took it off because the truck is so silly to look at already I just couldnt do it.

The truck is black and yellow so It looked like a bee. No lie it is a stupid looking truck.

Bzzzzzzzzz....

Soul, can you get to Google? If so, just type in the numbers I gave, with a space between them. Then click on "maps."

I am looking forward to watching 'Disappeared' tonight at 9:00 Central Time. The Jamisons will be featured. I do not know if it is a repeat or not.
