i can't believe you even have to ask, Oriah! TAKE THE CASH!!!! :)

I think I'd rather have the dog! I'm really good at teaching them to speak. :)

In all seriousness- right up there next to the dog being in the truck for 10 days and handing it over to a random local on the mountain... I am seriously wondering how the OSBI can justify releasing everything in the truck including the truck itself to a person who has no ownership to it?!?

I'm lost. Who got the truck and the cash? I thought that would remain as evidence until the case is solved. Who decided who got what?

One would think!

Starlet.
The OSBI.
Apparently the neighbor(s) /SO decided who to give the dog to temporarily- until the dog also went to Starlet.

Least- that's the best I can make of this most excellent chain of evidence. :banghead:

What's that phrase again? Follow the money?

I think from day one it is obvious that certain individuals never waivered from this rule. (Eye on the money). NOTHING distracted them. Not the disappearance of 3 people, not press coverage not LE, nothing swayed them from continuing on the pursuit of the money. It even appears that certain individuals had assistance in their quest... their path appears to be paved with assistance. Despite uncovering alot of evidence to back this up, it looks to me like there is soooooo much more we have not uncovered. This is one of the craziest cases I have ever seen. Frightening. I will never think of Oklahoma the same again! There just doesn't appear to be a bottom to the nastiness to be found there. JMO though.

I have to agree on this. But which individuals are you reffering to?

Melanaise, there are a couple of choices here I know, but though I have a favorite I hesitate to call names! There was quite a bit of struggle over the control of his father's estate even before his death and it appears (to me) that his father used his promise of inheritance to tease and control members of his family... that is my take only.... but it appears that several individuals coveted his wealth and perhaps power. This is the money I am talking about. Any other money referred to in this case is only rumour as far as I am concerned. I don't completely discount the possibility of robbery resulting in murder, I just can't shake the other hinkiness. kwim?

I also feel like they Did want to disappear.... I just don't think they were able to accomplish this before something else happened.

Yea , I went looking up. Then my hard drive issue happened. Now I need a new laptop so I am waiting . I miss my list of randon co winkies. It was huge, but random.

The ticket thing ,I think needs to be looked at again.

The doll alarms me also, redfish.

I've wondered if it could have been mistaken for Madyson in some way.

Here goes...I've been reading a bunch of other forums including (Topix, *************, The CharleyProject) and a bunch of news reports, etc. to name just a few, and there was some interesting information put forth on various locations. Also, I kind of got the "impression" regarding referencing other forum posts, so where possible, I mention the original news articles, etc. Which were used as the source information, but in a few instances other forum references couldn't seem to be helped (as has been said, take those with a grain of salt):

--------------------
DOG GONE IT!
---------------------
* Bobby's Mom has the dog, it was taken to Vet and fine (1)
* Puppy was SHITZUH PUPPY (1)
* Dog's name is: Maizy (2)
* "The dog was eating its own feces to stay alive," Beauchamp said" (2)
* The truck shown in the photo if the Jamison's, and I've seen it listed in two locations as their truck, is "interesting", because: (3)
-- If you look at the photo of the truck 3 of 4 windows are shown and none of the 3 shown have anything that resembles a "broken window" (previously referenced regarding Maizy the dog and it not being in the vehicle for 10 days). All the windows clearly have tint on them, so you can tell they have not been broken out/in.
-- The only window not clearly shows is the left driver's side back passenger window, and if that window was "broken in/out" then it would stand to reason that in the left driver's side back passenger area of the truck cab would be far lighter/brighter inside the cab on that side, than it shows in the photo of the truck, when compared to a) the right passenger side of the truck that has both doors standing wide open --and is the darker side of the truck more in shadow (light source-sun obviously frm the East). b) the left driver side of the truck, which also has the driver's door standing wide open and is the main light source side of the Sun light. IMHO - there were no broken windows in the vehicle, at least not significantly enough that a dog could be put through, and I even doubt any windows were broken completely, none pictured even show cracks. As someone who has done graphics/photograph light manipulation, things like shading/light source are details you tend to notice.

--------------------------------------------
NAMES - A ROSE BY ANY OTHER:
---------------------------------------------
I've experienced a bit of confusion regarding Sherilyn's name, because it seems to be listed differently depending on where you look.

* Charley Project has her listed as Sherilynn Leighann Jamison, and states that she also may go by: Sherilynn may use the last names Hightower, Jennings, Mangum and/or Walling. (4)
* Poster claiming to be Connie Kokotan, Sherrilyn's Jamison’s Mother Daughter's name as: Sherrilyn (5)
* Poster claiming to be Niki Sheold (friend) on 11/02/09: Sherilyn (1)

-----------------
ORDER UP!
-----------------

* No offense intended to anyone/everyone here, so please do not take it that way. But, I wish it were possible to consolidate information from this case on this forum more clearly into individual pages/sections, as are some other cases (i.e. Maps, a list of the Players/People, Pictures listed or culled from sources, timeline, unsubstantiated stuff, etc.) The closest I came was a post by NoWay here on Websleuths 01-03-2010, 11:21 PM. --Great Job of it, Thanks!..As I have this forum sub-page "bookmarked" so I can find it more easily, but then again, maybe it's that I'm going at this site thru my cell (at least until I get my laptop fixed or an alternate laptop set up going).

Discrepencies:

Yep, I see alot of those things that just don't add up to me. As Oriah has asked many times, " who supplied this information?" It disturbs me a little that mis-information seems to come from a couple of sources. I just do not see any glass in that truck (in the pictures) At a much later date there appears to be another truck (?) pictured that does have the rear driver window out.... but the evidence pictures that I have seen show no evidence of that. Shoddy work.... or???? No doubt the Jamisons are gone though. God rest their souls.

  • #393
I hate to say it, but you know what our biggest red flag was that pointed toward massive misinformation on many levels (and raised a considerable amount of doubt for me)?

Being requested for search and rescue assistance... and then said requestors being angry and oppositional when it was accepted.

It's almost like family, friends, and local LE are really uncomfortable with the prospect of locating the Jamisons.

Why?

RE: broken window in the truck: I of course can't find the photo now, but I remember very clearly seeing a photograph of the truck parked at their home with the rear passenger window broken out. It was covered in black plastic. I thought that I saw this in an album on the FTJs Facebook page, but I've not yet found it. Anyone else remember this photo?

ETA: What reason would the sheriff have to lie about how they got into the locked truck?

That is the pic I saw too. But in the pics that were taken at the scene (?) I do not see any glass in the backseat and there are no shots of that broken window. I found it interesting in what they did take pictures of though... or what we saw. Maybe they did take more pics I did not see. Should have if they didn't.

Do we know for a fact that no photos were taken of the window or of the dog, though? Perhaps we are only seeing a few of the photographs that were taken and not all of them were released.

Again, I just wonder why LE would lie about how they got into the truck -- or why they would lie about the dog.

Why does LE lie about anything? I'm not speaking of intentionally holding back information, I'm speaking of lies. Never a good reason IMO...

In my opinion, the main reasons that any of us lie about anything are 1) shame 2) dont want to hurt the party being lied to 3) we have something to hide. 4) or to protect someone who may potentially get into some type of trouble. {Sorry I am not so eloquent}

As proffessionals, LE shouldnt be concerned with hurting the public or family of the Jamisons. Yes, they should be aware of thier feelings, but not so much so that it gets in the way of the truth.

So, that leaves me with SHAME, HAVING SOMETHING TO HIDE, and PROTECTING SOMEONE (to include members of law enforcement)

And now that I think about it, any of these 3 reasons would really explain LEs lack of initiative or interest in the Jamisons.

SO SAD!!! My heart breaks for the Jamison family and all of thier loved ones they left behind.

The photo you are referring to was taken after the truck was released by the OSBI. That photo was not taken by LE.

The other pictures taken (of the truck on the mountain) were taken by LE, during investigation.

According to this English major's inexact count - and depending on when they were actually last seen - the Jamisons have now been missing for 688 days. Looks like FtJ hasn't made much progress, regrettably; has anyone been brave enough to check Topix lately? The latest post I find on there begins, in re: the thread's 206 pages, "Well, this certainly has been a wealth of information (and disinformation)." Amen and hallelujah to that. Pass the wine bottle.
