GUILTY OK - Jaymie Adams, 25, Blanchard, 9 Dec 2011

The report notes Clarke told Justin bodies are frequently at Draper, so she took Justin to Lake Stanley Draper to look for Jaymie.

ummm hmmmmm.

The most compelling circumstantial evidence that I have read in the newspapers that he was guilty is the fact that the cell phones pinged in the same area. NOW, the life insurance policy certainly competes with the cell phone pings!! :ohwow:

Hmmm. It does sound like they have a lot of circumstantial evidence. I'm just having a hard time believing that Tina was involved - but it appears she may have been. Interesting that she hasn't been charged with anything.

I forget when she was reported missing. Why did his cell phone ring at the lake, 12 hours after she disappeared, when it seems to me that was the time frame he must have been with police being questioned. There aren't enough details here to come up with a clear timeline.

Police arrested Justin because they said in interviews he gave inconsistent statements with facts later revealed in the case. The documents reveal Justin told detectives Jaymie took her cell phone and laptop with her when she allegedly went to meet men for sex on December 10. But investigators did not find her phone in her van the next day at a McDonalds, instead they said Jaymie and Justin's cell phones were hitting the same tower 12 hours before her disappearance and the day after. The document shows the tower was near where police recovered her body at Lake Stanley Draper on January 7.

I wonder where the laptop went.....

If Jaymie got pregnant as a result of being raped, then I assume the baby she was carrying when she was murdered wasn't Justin's.

<snipped>

"Justin then told police Jaymie had gotten raped and "knocked up" by accident. But he said they had worked everything out."
I further wonder if that wasn't part of his motive: re: what his version of "worked out" didn't sync with Jaymie's version?

Also very hinky to hear about the relationship, the marriage proposal, the past tense language, the life insurance policy and the pings

In this link:

Investigators asked him how long they had been married. Adams told police "it would have been a year in February." Investigators said he answered most questions in the past tense.

Her husband, Justin Adams, admitted to abusing Jayme and said he would be the only one to be with her.

This is important to me. Some have said that they did not believe Jaymie when she reported abuse. This is another huge step to me.

The fact that he admits that this was not his baby, but as a result of rape. In another article, it states that Jaymie would only "work" when they needed cash flow. I wonder if she was refusing to work because of the pregnancy. I wonder if that infuriated him. Money is often a very strong motive for murder. :sigh: So very sad!

She called the cops twice to report that her husband was acting belligerent, but not to report a rape?

I wonder if it was a customer who didn't pay. That might mean "rape" in her's or his eyes.

I think what sticks out most is that Justin claimed this (rape) and unfortunately Jaymie is not here to ask her about it.

What she DID report was DV and Justin admits that he hit her to police.

I wonder if the medical examiner extracted a sample from the fetus so they could identify the father.

If Jaymie told her husband she was raped, then Justin might know who committed the crime and who "the father" is.

Court documents obtained Monday show Jaymie Adams engaged in prostitution to make ends meet. Justin Adams told police investigators during a Dec. 12 interview that his wife “hated” working as a prostitute, saying she met clients twice a week, and “when the cellphone bill and van payment were made,” she stopped until another bill was due, according to a probable cause affidavit filed Monday.

Well, that makes me sick. Why didn't he, I don't know, GET A JOB? Or go out and prostitute HIMSELF, it seems that Jaymie really didn't want to. The poor girl was desparate, I imagine.

I am now even more suspicious of Justin's mom. I hate to feel that way, but with the article and the things I saw on FB, she is giving me a real bad feeling.

:( Poor Jaymie. She just seems to have had a very hard life, no support from anyone. I hope she at least found a bit of joy in her children.

It takes money to feed and clothe 2 adults and 3 children and put gas in the car. Plus the utilities, taxes & car insurance has to be paid so I don't see how Jaymie could stop working once the car payment and cell phone bills were paid.

And, if Justin purchased a life insurance policy for his wife, doesn't he have to make monthly payments? How much would the monthly payment be for that? I don’t know anything about life insurance policies.

Justin was in the military and he had completed basic training IIRC. Would he receive an income from them?
I thought Justin had a car that LE impounded but if he did, he too should have had to pay $400 like his mother to get it back but we didn’t hear anything about that. If Justin had his own vehicle, why did he go to his mother’s so they could use her parents' car to go look for Jaymie in the wee hours of the morning?

I think the only cars that were impounded were the van that Jaymie drove, Tina's car, and that guy from Craigslist, Cyr's car. I wonder if they charged Cyr 400 bucks to get his car back too. :(

Now that Justin has been charged with two counts of murder and new information has been released by the media, I wonder if the investigator who offered to work for free is still willing to work on the case?

Does a private investigator have access to the evidence LE obtained through the search warrants such as cell phone and computer records?

I am not positive, but I don't think so. Only the defens attorney would have access to that, I believe. Of course I guess the defense attorney could probably share that with a pi , if they wanted to.
This may not be correct, I don't have much legal knowledge. Just saying what I THINK.

Was Cyr's vehicle released?

BBM

IIRC it was repossessed while in impound. MSM states "family van" so I think this may be the one Jaymie had driven to the McDonald's.

Years ago I was a dispatcher for a towing company that obtained the city contract (sheriff and police departments). When a vehicle was impounded (parking citations, accident, evidentiary, etc.) the owner of the vehicle was required to pay for the towing and storage fees prior to the release of the vehicle. Everything required documentation and we were often audited as a condition of maintaining the contract.

If you didn't pay the fees you didn't get your car back. I would assume OK has a similar lien for towing and storage fees statute.

Is Irven Box still representing Justin or was he assigned a public defender?

It would be pretty tough to investigate this case without access to the phone and computer records.
