1) if ballistics indicated one or more firearms used in the murders of the Freemans?
2) what accelerant was used in the fire?

Odd that Lauria's purse was found, with cash, in the burned trailer. It's hard to believe a body could be burned beyond recognition but a purse remains.

"Danny Freeman and two sixteen year old girl's staying at the home were nowhere to be found. The Freeman's daughter, Ashley, was celebrating her 16th birthday with her friend Lauria Bible.

Lorene Bible says because of the Freeman's history with local law enforcement, when Craig County deputies saw the Freeman's home on fire and found the body of Kathy inside they turned the scene over to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations.

Within one hour the home was released back to the Freeman family according to Bible.

Despite being told there was only one body inside the home the next morning Lorene and her husband found another body - Danny Freeman. But Ashley Freeman and Lorene's daughter, Lauria, were still missing.

"In walks a separate entity that should have done it's job," Bible says. "There's a body, should be three other bodies, you can take that trailer to the floor. I mean I've seen it take days to do a one room motel room."

I wonder if they missed the girl's bodies.

I was not aware there was body that was burned beyond recognition. Danny Freemans body was found under rubble. That is apparently why the original firefighters (Volunteer fire dept) did not find his body. Kathy's body was easily found because it was laying across a bed.

Even when a fire is started to deliberately destroy evidence, it never burns hot enough to destroy all the evidence of human remains. Now, in the case of something like the Twin Towers / 911, the flames were so hot, that yes, many peoples remains were never found, but, still there are small bone fragments and teeth being found at the site. If the 2 girls had been killed and then left in the trailer while it was set a blaze, their remains would have been found.

My mistake then. In the AMW video, Lorene said when she went back the next day and they found Danny's body, it was unrecognizable. She could hardly tell it was a person. Now I read that Danny had a shotgun wound to the face. Sounds like there was a mighty scuffle. Whatever happened to the boyfriend?

I found it odd that paper money would be identifiable in the purse after the fire.

Do you have a theory? TIA

Sometimes the strangest things can remain after a house fire. My friends home burned down and on the livingroom wall all pictures burned except for one which was just covered in soot but was not melted at all.

I have only recently begun reading / studying about this case. Below are my thoughts / ideas. Plz know they are very elementary and may evolve after I have read and studied more on this case.

Danny Freeman - he was definitely involved in an altercation with whomever set the fire and murdered he and his wife. The excessive amount of bodily damage caused by the firearm as well as the broken bone would support this theory. I also believe that within the crime scene, the most forensic evidence would have been found on Danny. Therefore the offenders who murdered Danny most likely used an excessive amount of acclerant on him before starting the fire. Hence the reason was found under a pile of rubble.

Kathey Freeman - I believe she was murdered because she could identify the person or people involved in her husbands murder. I believe she was compliant and was most likely hoping that her agreeable nature / attidtude would save her life and that of Lauria and Ashley. In another scenario, Kathy could have been shot while in her bed and never had any idea of the full extent of the carnage that would occur within her family. Either way, I do not belive she was viewed as a physical threat to the offender(s) who committed these crimes.

Lauria and Ashley - It is my belief that the 2 young ladies were taken from the residence by whomever murdered Danny and Kathy. Because there were 2 young ladies and 2 adults that were ultimately controlled within this crime scene, I believe there were at least 2 offenders. (Possibly 3). I believe the girls were taken from the residence and sexually assaulted. Eventually the girls were murdered and their bodies disposed of somewhere very remote. Possibly a body of water. I do not believe the girls were in anyway involved with murders of Danny and Kathy.

Motive - Burglary. From what I have garnered from the media reports, it was known that Danny had a large and valuable collection of arrow heads and another type of (native to the area) collectable. (Sorry, the exact nature of the 2nd collectable escapes me). It was rumored that Danny also dealt drugs / marijuana. It was also known that Ashley was saving money for a vehicle. I believe that the offenders knew the potential for money, collectables and drugs being on the premises. Because of the possibility of money, the trailer was broken into and the murders and kidnappings occured.

Jeremy Hurst - the boyfriend of Ashley. If he had been involved, there would have been an arrest. He most likely had an airtight alibi and if he did not, minimally, a GSR test (gun shot residue) would have ruled him out. I do not belive he was involved in these crimes.

I have no idea if the above scenarios are valid but, I hope one day the truth will come to light.

After reading only part of this thread, a few things stick out. If the girls had done this, they wouldn't have left behind a wallet with $200.00 in it.

Why would a teenage girl be carrying around $200.00? Was she given the money by her father to make a drug buy for him?

Or did one of the girls friends who knew about her savings for a vehicle come by to rob Ashley of her buried money?

This is a very strange case with two serial killers claiming to have been responsible and, yet, neither one charged......

How far is Welch from Weleetka?

There are photos of both the trailer and the yard- media has a couple shots of the trailer, and shots of both are in the LE file. I will try to find the media link.
I am not any relation to the girls. Just SAR who took an interest after working several cases in OK that involved Oklahoma LE.
