Amber Alert issued for 2-year-old girl after man stabbed McDonald's manager, Muskogee police say

MUSKOGEE, Okla. — An Amber Alert has been issued for a 2-year-old girl after police said her father stabbed his manager at a Muskogee fast-food restaurant and fled in a vehicle that he's forced his wife and daughter to be in.

The girl has been identified as Olivia Perez. She is 2 feet tall, weighs about 38 pounds and has blue eyes and blond hair.

According to police, Brenda Perez told her sister-in-law that she and their 2-year-old daughter, Olivia, were in a car with him and he would not let them out.

Police said the vehicle is headed toward Texas. The vehicle is a silver 2006 Chevrolet Malibu with Oklahoma tags EBM-212.

Brenda Perez is described as being 4 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing 310 pounds and having blue eyes and red hair. A description of Derek Perez has not been released.

Muskogee Police: McDonald's Worker Stabs Manager, Now On The Run With Wife, Child

MUSKOGEE, Oklahoma - Muskogee Police are investigating after they said an employee stabbed a manager at the McDonald's at 101 South 32nd Street Tuesday afternoon. Police Chief Johnny Teehee said the two got into an altercation just before 3 p.m. that ended when the manager was stabbed in the stomach.

According to police, an Amber Alert is now issued for his wife, Brenda Perez, and his daughter, Olivia Perez.
According to Muskogee police, Derek's wife was contacted by her sister-in-law after she saw the story on the news. After that Brenda said that Derek wouldn't let her or the child out of the car and they were heading to towards Texas, police said.

Amber Alert issued for 2-year-old after father accused of stabbing manager at Muskogee McDonald's

Perez and the manager reportedly were involved in an altercation at the McDonald’s restaurant in the 100 block of South 32nd Street, according to a Muskogee Police Department news release.

Police said Perez left the restaurant before officers arrived.

Really worried for both mom and child.

Also, I’m not sure they are married? Maybe I’m missing something but court case shows they are divorced and shows he has a felony for none other than domestic violence, and one for domestic abuse by strangulation.

Manager stabbed by employee at McDonald's, emergency workers say

On December 10th 2019, at approximately 1450 hours officers were dispatched to McDonalds located at 101 S. 32nd Street in reference to a stabbing.

The suspect left the scene prior to officers arriving.

So this happened at 2:50 pm approx. Texas is approx 3 hours from there. They could have been in Texas before amber alerts even sounded on phones tonight. Sad.

***So, Perez is looking for suicide by cop shootout at the old OK corral. What an idiot. How old is he? I haven’t read every post yet. I heard about this on tv yesterday - right before I fell asleep. I wake up now and see baby isn’t found safe yet. (Thanks for heads up fitz) Makes me so mad. This is my state. I take it somewhat personal. I’m really losing my patience with all these unbalanced out of control people. I know they must have mental and emotional problems. And I’m sorry for that. But I am sick to death of hearing about other innocent people’s lives altered forever. But why doesn't someone more stable around these psychologically unstable people direct them to hope and options for a better life? Sometimes, all it takes is a kind ear, effective communication and gentle referral for those trapped in DV situations. Now, a woman and an innocent baby are paying an unfair price for actions beyond their control. People can not sit around and wait to get help. They think their pain and problems are going to go away by itself. It doesn’t. So they end up taking their frustration and anger out on those around them - simply because they can and it’s convenient. It’s about control. They have none. No self control. This is the way of violent offenders. Mindset: life is controlling me and I can’t do anything about it - so I’ll take control once and for all - now, I make the decisions and I do what I need to so that I can justify feeling sorry for myself and playing victim. He better not hurt Olivia. He just better not!
