Huge update. Please keep us posted @Snoangel26. My thoughts are with you as you read the hard parts.I was finally able to recieve Stephen's military records. 121 pages that I need to go thru. Some are hard to see. I also recieved his DD214. Which list other than honorable for his discharge.

Unfortunately the only family is his sister, that told me to never contact her again or she would deem it harassment. I will continue to search and I'll have him declared deceased.Hi @Snoangel26 .... wow.
I know you know how many of us have supported you on this journey.
Hard to understand how and why there are so many pages for a single soldier.
I have lost track of some of the details you have shared over time...... but remind us again.
Are they any relatives or family connections you can lean on at this point in the journey.
I'm so sorry, that is terribly sad for you. Still hopeful you will get the answers you deserve even without her help.Unfortunately the only family is his sister, that told me to never contact her again or she would deem it harassment. I will continue to search and I'll have him declared deceased.
That makes sense. So perhaps he escaped either from the jail, or while being transported back to his unit, since that's just a couple of days later.
I wonder if ChatGPT might be helpful here in terms of interpreting the abbreviations or cleaning up the files and making them easier to read. Or even to summarize what is in the 121 pages.I was finally able to recieve Stephen's military records. 121 pages that I need to go thru. Some are hard to see. I also recieved his DD214. It stands for need of service memberI finally realized that in #4, GDS REQ means either guards required or requested. I wonder what SNM means in #2 and 3. Stephen Murphy, perhaps, but the middle initial is wrong.
Curious about line #2.... at first I read this as SNM apprehended by FBI at 1700 hours on 76/ 10/29 at Tulsa OK??I know this isn't very clear. But this is one of the pages in his file.View attachment 642953
