Yes, very likely.Do you know if the Walla Walla National Guard, where he is reportedly a sergeant (E5) trains there too? (He joined that in 2021 but reportedly hasn't been to drill for a year.)

Exclusive: Who is Travis Decker? We ask the Army, National Guard, father on his military background
The man wanted for the murder of his three daughters has a military background, KIRO 7 News confirmed Wednesday.www.kiro7.com
The keyword here is "confirmed". Several people stated that the new leads come from game cameras and trail cams in that area. Police must have some pretty high confidence of the film footage (or something else) to put out these civil alert warnings for residents/visitors to secure homes and vehicles and move their search focus to the Valley Hi and Ingalls Creek area. From this quote from the sheriff, it doesn't sound like the reason for their narrowing down of the search to the Ingalls Creek area was based on a confirmed visual sighting of him:
"U.S. Marshals were looking for the 32-year-old Army veteran near the small unincorporated community of Peshastin and the Ingalls Creek and Valley High areas, a spokesperson for the Chelan County Sheriff's Office confirmed to USA TODAY Tuesday morning, June 10.... While authorities have recently received multiple reported sightings of the wanted man, none have been confirmed, Chelan County Sheriff Mike Morrison told USA TODAY by phone. "All reports of him being spotted since he disappeared are, so far, unfounded," Morrison told USA TODAY."

Yes, in that area many hiking/camping areas require a lottery to get a space. They will have a record of every authorized person who is in that area.Backpackers on trails usually need to register their party, and their in and out dates, so infrared at night might reveal a person not registered for backpacking on the trail.
it's a few hours drive:Does anyone know where Colville Reservation is in connection to the potential area he is thought to be in? Just curious…
I'm curious about your question so I hope you don't mind my asking: Does he have some connection to the Colville Reservation?Does anyone know where Colville Reservation is in connection to the potential area he is thought to be in? Just curious…
Not that I know of…I was just following a few army helicopters. One was in that area and landed. There was another helicopter I was more interested in but due to tracker experiencing a problem it reloaded and I lost that army helicopter tracking as well.I'm curious about your question so I hope you don't mind my asking: Does he have some connection to the Colville Reservation?
Ah, I see. Thank you for your reply. Not that I know of…I was just following a few army helicopters. One was in that area and landed. There was another helicopter I was more interested in but due to tracker experiencing a problem it reloaded and I lost that army helicopter tracking as well.
I know this sounds like I'm joking but maybe they found pizza crust, food or garbage to tip them off. From this quote from the sheriff, it doesn't sound like the reason for their narrowing down of the search to the Ingalls Creek area was based on a confirmed visual sighting of him:

Wow, @Boxer!! Wake up call for me cuz I'm not up on how far someone physically fit & practiced at hiking rough terrain & raring to go with intention & adrenaline could go... 45 miles a day!! Wowza!! That's like (only doing the maths in my head) around 4+ miles an hour around 12+ hours a day, which sounds reasonable now that I think on it.Canada is 90 miles from Rock Island Campground. 2 day hike.
He had Friday night through Monday afternoon
I'm not sure if it's the same in the US as here in Canada... and don't quote me on the laws either but I don't think police are allowed on reservations? Not that I know of…I was just following a few army helicopters.
