The reason I think the bloody handprints on the tailgate is interesting is because he could have transported their bodies in the truck bed.The sheriff and the other LE guy said there was more evidence they wouldn't divulge. Lots, imo.

In my mind something is missing in the apparent fact that all 3 had hands zip tied. So 2 just stood there as he zip tied the first? Wouldn't he be afraid of girls shrieking?

So maybe he put them in the truck bed first then tied and hooded them one by one from the truck bed where they couldn't run. And the blood came from that action. The bodies were up to 100 yds, a football field into the woods. I'd think they might have been dead before being dragged out there, if they were dragged. He weighs 190, at least one of the girls weighed 40. Less than a bag of dogfood.

We may find out that he drugged them first with otc sleeping pills. It just doesn't make sense to me that they compliantly waited their turn.

Maybe they thought they were playing a game. Let me tie your hands and the first one to pick up 5 rocks wins the prize!

He had to fool them because they'd already been scared of him.

I'm still hoping that it was a gentle way with no trauma for any of the girls, but geeeeze after the Watts case.. nothing would EVER surprise me anymore. :(

That was my thought. Phrased it as a game, possibly hooded them first so they couldn't see what was happening. It's absolutely horrific whatever way happened though

So, he somehow gets them out quite far. Imo meaning he had been planning to drive away. Would have taken carrion birds to alert to the bodies days later.

Why did he decide to leave the car?

Love this photo of them at the link : 😢

Fly high, Paityn, Evelyn, and Olivia !

They are adorable!! You can see how close they were to each other and their personalities!

I am having a hard time with this one, can't fathom the evil. He took it all out on the girls, Watts took it out on the entire family. I am really surprised that he didn't murder his ex.

Or if it happened at night, they could have been sleeping in the truck and he took them out of the truck one at a time. I really hope however it happened, the girls were clueless until the last moment and it was over as quickly as possible.

Rehome the dog for 'financial concerns'.. 🤔 hmmm, probably murdered those innocent babies for the same then, he must have been in arrears with child support no doubt and overwhelmed with everything.. being homeless and I'm guessing no job. jmo (punishing the mother for his 'plight')
On the Friday when he picked up the girls he was quieter than usual. The mom reported due to financial pressures, he talked about getting rid of his dog, he also stated, back payments for child support were coming off his pay cheque. He talked about getting rid of truck due to financial pressures as well.

On the Friday when he picked up the girls he had a conversation with the mom. The mom reported at the same time he talked about getting rid of his dog, he also stated, back payments for child support were coming off his pay cheque. He also talked about getting rid of truck due to financial pressures. The mom also stated he was quieter than usual on Friday.
I read all of the above in a link previously posted. I will try to find it…I just caught up from reading from the first post. So the link could be anywhere in the last 17 pages.

Here you go:

He was employed in some capacity, at least until Monday. (BBM)

"When Travis Decker was picking up his daughters for a scheduled visit, his ex noted he "was quieter than usual, which was out of character." She mentioned a recent ticket being a financial burden for him, along with garnished wages due to back child support. She also stated he was talking about getting rid of his dog due to housing and additional financial concerns."

"On Monday, June 2, he failed to show up to work. His boss noted "some recent mental health concerns" to detectives."

Thank you so much. I knew I had read it. But, I did much reading in the last couple of hours on here. I copied the link on my post so it won’t get deleted.

I'm certain they had to be deceased before he left them at their final place. If not, anyone would reflexively try to tear the bag off on branches, short woody plants, even with hands tied. Unless the 🤬🤬🤬 stood there until it was over. But, meanwhile, the other 2 sisters?

Yeah, I wondered about those bloody prints when we learned suffocation. First thought was defensive wounds as you describe. But for it to be handprints (plural)? I would expect maybe some blood smears if he were scratched up by the girls. That term - bloody handprints. Seems like quite a bit of blood would be needed to result in hand prints JMO

Bbm.
Agreed.

Graphic :

If he'd cut his wrists for instance, he'd have been found by now.
Jumping off both @ticya and @Chimera posts. This just a possible scenario

Perhaps he used a knife to cut them and make them submit? He could utilize all the combat training he had received while in the military.

I apologize: Warning Graphic:
Perhaps Travis used a knife to make them compliant. He knew between fear and the pain it would aid forcing the hooded plastic bags over their heads and the zip ties on their wrists. Maybe that accounts for the two bloody hand prints on the tailgate and was also the source of the blood.

My Opinion Only

After reading all the posts from day one, I believe he is no longer with the living. Hopefully, LE find his body.

On another note, if the dog is actually dead, could the bloody hand prints be the result of killing his dog?
