No. Too far from town. You need permits to camp there and there are limits on how long you can stay. It’s highly probable no one else heard them.Any chance this was some camp where other homeless stay? I can't see him able to zip tie/suffocate without screams from the other children, it's not like he could do this to all 3 at the same time. What he had to hear while doing this to his own children ( who the mother stated he loved) I just can't fathom. I'm just wondering if anyone else heard or saw anything. I'm just sick about this.
No, but it seems like he had a lot of challenges one after the other, like you cant get your head above water. Then the smallest things become huge. What a tragedy. He doesn't look mean.
Neither did Chris Watts. What a tragedy. He doesn't look mean.

Whatever started it, just got out of control. No excuses, wonder what stopped him from getting help before resorting to this.
Well Chris Watts looked weird, I would have felt uncomfortable around someone so anxious to please and reluctant to make a decision. His wife did it all, got him his jobs, ran the house, raised the kids. But I understand what you mean. Just that this guy doesn't seem like play dough like Watts. ( but I would still favor the dp for baby murderers. They don't belong on earth.)Neither did Chris Watts.
Apparently, he stopped going to his National Guard drills which were once a month. The NG was preparing to take action on that.I believe the girls were crying and screaming. This can happen in healthy divorce situations too. Shifting back and forth between parents can be rough.
Keep in mind this is civil court. Custody can be a contentious thing and most of it can be seen as hearsay. You value your rights. I value my rights. In hindsight we can question this, but keep in mind, there was zero physical harm, zero abuse, just a guy who was homeless with obvious mental health problems. The court simply can't take away parental rights based on testimony from one parent. If roles were reversed and the man, who was stable, housed, etc told the court the mother who lost everything in the divorce was crazy, you all would not be pleased. There has to be something substaniated to remove all rights.
Not necessarily. He does have a right to challenge this order. Keep in mind, besides maybe a certain amount of disability, he was still employed with the National Guard. This is important because this literally is how he is making a living. IF he were to undergo a psychiatric screening, he could quite possibly get discharged from service and lose any income he has.
Hence the desperation. Not only has he "lost everything" in terms of housing, family, now he is in a position that if he loses the national guard, he will be destitute. I am not sure the details of why he separated from active service before, but if it was a decision he felt pressured into for the family, he could have a lot of resentment. Now, having to get screened involuntarily, he could possibly lose his career.
I know the mother told the courts he had borderline personality disorder and was a narcissist (like everyone else on TikTok these days) however, if these were true diagnoses, he would absolutely not be in the National Guard. Again, Divorce and Custody courts are civil matters and they can get unpleasant, with lots of name calling and hearsay.
I do NOT condone anything he has done, I am NOT making excuses at all. I just am not a fan of broad sweeping generalizations that ALL homeless people, ALL people with mental health disorders, or ALL people who are under extreme situational stress (being homeless, not having enough income to get an apartment due to child support, not being able to feed you dog so you need to get rid of it, losing more time with your kids, etc etc) means you should have your parental rights terminated. Laws are in place because literally until the 1970s women could not get bank accounts alone or credit cards. Can you imagine being told you couldn't have your kids because you were insolvent? Because the person who could afford the better lawyer, called the shots? Anyway...
He may have unintentionally left a trail, whether by litter, trampled weeds, etc. leading right to them.If he wanted the girls found quickly once the truck was discovered, I wonder why they were 100 feet over an embankment and not just next to the truck?
He also did the Olympic Park bombing at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.I keeping thinking about Eric Rudolph, the abortion clinic bomber, who was a fugitive for five years. He hid in the Appalachian Mountains and was caught by a rookie policeman as Rudolph was digging through a dumpster @ a grocery store. The award for information leading directly to his arrest was one million dollars.
Likewise, men who may have realized that he's chosen the wrong woman to have kids with can more safely leave her, and not risk losing them. Unfortunately, in too many cases the pendulum has swung TOO far and women can be punished for denying visitation, even if there are some very good reasons why it shouldn't happen.Laws are in place because literally until the 1970s women could not get bank accounts alone or credit cards. Can you imagine being told you couldn't have your kids because you were insolvent? Because the person who could afford the better lawyer, called the shots? Anyway...
While there was still an active search, someone posted a picture of the dog on the FB group site that was started by the family. Shortly after it was posted, a local person posted a picture of a dog that had been found off Icicle Rd. Someone had posted a picture of the found dog on a local site, looking for the owner. It was obviously the same dog; the markings were identical.
I'll post the link to the family group, but they have removed most of the earlier posts, so the pictures of the dog are no longer there.
The mom's aunt, who is one of admins, said that the mom would love to read about reasons why people loved the girls, and she would love to read happy stories and memories about them. Posts on any other topic are being removed.
