I'm not sure if it's the same in the US as here in Canada... and don't quote me on the laws either but I don't think police are allowed on reservations?

From my memory years ago, police are not allowed to go on reservation land. So in a way, if he did think to go there it could be a red tape nightmare about jurisdictions however unsure how Feds work in the US.

Yes, federal law enforcement can go arrest someone on reservations if there is a federal crime. And we know that the feds have charged TD with being a fugitive from justice.

I wonder if the military would be able to detain him until LE could make the arrest. I don't think the military have power of arrest over civilian matters. But maybe they could detain him, not sure if they have that authority.

Even if they couldn't legally arrest, I'm sure they would physically restrain him one way or another until LE arrived.

I searched for the Wenatchee Pangborn airport. Even if you put pangborn in the search and put it on the map…you can go from there.

That is why I kept it very vague. Columbia River is around 1,000 miles long and travels through the entire state of WA.

Anyone on the ground in the general area can hear these helicopters and planes coming from miles away. They are flying extremely low and very loud. The Sheriff and Feds have been consistently updating the public and mapping specifically where they are focusing their searches. None of this is undisclosed information.

Yep, using that. I can only see lake Steven’s showing a helicopter and one at an airport to the south.

I think saying no confirmed sightings is a way to keep him guessing. If he was spotted on a game camera or other camera that someone might have noticed say the next morning or hours later and then searchers went to the area and maybe found evidence like footprints, disturbed ground, trash of any kind, etc then I'd say they could factually say that wasn't a confirmed sighting and still mean that it could have been him and they are on his trail.

This new focus shifting the way it did seems different than other possible sightings. I don't recall any warnings going out to other areas when someone report maybe seeing him. This time they issued a warning and moved the area and put a lot of assets in the area. Seems something more significant was seen/reported this time than other possible sightings.

I think most of us locals believe that as well and likely the reason for the court hearing for the protection order this morning. I agree with others that he was likely spotted on a private game cam or even a glimpse. Valley Hi would be a good place to go to break into a cabin as there are both year round residences and secondary residences there.

Keep hoping to see a CAPTURED post. I have to keep thinking they are getting close.

I think there should have been an AA. They knew his make model of vehicle plate etc and if they didn't they had the means to get that info immediately. I wish they had done so.

I realize they had no direct threat to make them think the girls were in imminent danger but the totality of events leading up to that night should have given this case more urgency in LE's minds. JMO Shoulda coulda woulda
