No... they have been very careful to just say that it was a vehicle drive by one of the older boys, but they have not identified which one. I am sure they will not for privacy issues.

Actually, they have identified which son and it's in some of the news articles, not that it matters, IMO. I pray that he and the entire family will experience the healing they need.

Hoppyfrog... they have now, not at the time. I think the people issue explaining the funeral was the first one I have seen that explained which son was driving, because the family opening discussed it and supported him during the ceremony. Good for him... he will need this.
The poster was acting as if I was acusing a son without knowledge and took issue with my post, because at the time we did not know which son it was. Point was... it didn't matter. All I said meant was one of his older sons. It was nitpicky of the poster to begin with to make an issue of it. I was just discussing that it was driven by one of his older sons. I don't know how many posts we have to delve into about it... as it really was a non-issue.

My sentiments exactly. May beautiful little Maria rest in peace. May her brother eventually heal and learn to forgive himself.

Rip Maria and hopefully this family's faith will help the son to forgive himself for this tragic accident.

Personally I think that vehicles like suv's with large blind spots should have some kind of motion detection systems fitted at time of manufacture as a matter of course not as an afterthought.
