I was waiting with prospective juries for two different trials while all lawyers and judge inside. They stepped out for each after awhile and said a plea has been made, no trial.

Course, this was in the U.S., so don't know.

Perhaps. But why wait for everyone to enter the court room and then lead them out. The Prosecution was about to start their OS.

They'd better not plea deal with this guy...and I don't think they would even consider it. They know better after the Homolka debacle.

Now if he decides the heat is too much in that courtroom and wants to just go ahead and plead guilty I'd be okay with that.

Maybe it's all becoming "real" for him and he can't handle it?

if it were something like a bomb scare, etc etc etc or a security sweep you would think the whole building would be evacuated.
