She must not have thought she would be gone for long if she did not take her phone ? We need to see if there are cameras in that area

It worries me that she left without her phone or wallet. Lets hope it was just because she wasn't planning to be gone long.

I walk around my block every evening (before dark) and never take either phone or money. It is about a 30 minute walk.

Fair enough. I guess it's just me but I wouldn't take a walk without my phone. Being a woman walking by myself I feel safer with it in the event of a medical or other emergency.

Did Juana typically walk in the evening?

If so, where and for how long?

Was it normal for her to go on walks? It sounds like her family is very concerned and care for her, I hope she is found safe quickly.

Juana Isela Morales left her home in the Hazelwood neighborhood on Sept. 20 at 9 p.m. without her phone or wallet, said MG, her brother-in-law who is serving as a spokesman for the family.

[...]

“What exactly caused her to just leave on foot and leave her wallet behind and her phone behind, which are important things to be carrying, we don’t exactly know at this time,” MG said.

Morales lives with her husband and three daughters, ages 18, 15 and 11. Her mother and three sisters also live in Portland.

Family and friends organized a search in East Portland with over 100 volunteers on Friday, MG said. Volunteers are also helping to run down tips about Morales’s location as they come in.

[...]

Police had no new information on the case as of Tuesday, said Lt. Nathan Sheppard, a Portland police spokesperson.

Was there an argument?
The BIL was the one speaking for the family on the news. ("We want her to come home...we'll welcome her with open arms.")
She left at 9pm with no phone or money.
