Found Safe OR - Kaitlyn Stofiel, 11, Warm Springs, Feb 2017

Kaitlyn’s half-sister lives in the area. She said the situation is “scary and it’s very frustrating.”

She said she’s worried about her little sister. It’s been 5 years since they’ve seen each other, she said, because Tom and Kaitlyn have moved around the US.

“He lived in Oregon and then he cut all contact and the next thing you know he’s on Facebook posting pictures of Kansas. So that’s how we found out she wasn’t even in Oregon anymore.

Later they moved to Minnesota, she said.

It was just really hard because we’d talk to her for a couple months at a time” before communication would lapse because “he’d decide, ‘OK, I don’t want them talking to her.'”” the half-sister said.

Yes... Disturbing! March 5th 2011, he thinks god is going to kill all the sinners and he will be one of the survivors. He has ordered gas masks for himself and his daughter. He thinks God is talking to him.

He says a cave will protect you from being fried by god's wrath when he washes his hand across the sun and burns the evil away. And he says he can't wait. He also mentions another planet calle Elenin.

It would not surprise me to find out he was listening to "Pastor" Paul Begley on YouTube. Back in 2011 people like Begley were going on about the Comet (Not planet) Elenin ushering in the second coming of Jesus. Scary proclamations IMO. I only know about Begley because, unfortunately, my husband has been listening to him for years and my husband says "I love Paul!" I don't want to get off topic, but my husband is mentally ill. I am really worried about Kaitlyn.

Perhaps he was the better parent at the time. Maybe, mom has passed. I do feel she is enduring a lot at a young age with what seems to be the thought process of her dad at this time. Perhaps even before with the moves and homeschooling.(Not against we were an air force family that moved a lot and homeschooled).

The good news is that the sister is of age. So maybe if her mother is not able to take custody then maybe the older sister can? Of course that is if she is found alive and they can prove the dad isn't fit.
This little girl deserves a childhood. She deserves friends, bike rides, school dances , first crushes and all that other good stuff. I'm afraid she isn't getting a normal childhood being out in the run with her obviously ill father.

Child reported missing, and possibly endangered, found with her father this morning
a few minutes after 10 a.m. Wednesday. An FBI agent and a Warm Springs detective were driving separately down Highway 26 approximately 25 miles west of the city of Warm Springs when they saw the Stofiels hitchhiking.
Both Kaitlyn and her father were wet, cold and hungry but otherwise appeared physically uninjured.

[FONT=&quot]The Stofiels were found within a mile of where they had abandoned their truck previously. The Stofiels reported that they spent most of the past two weeks camping a few miles away in an isolated area, according to the release. [/FONT]
