I wonder if that means that there is a chance all three men are in another snow cave. if all three are together - they would have a better chance of staying warmer, and keeping their spirits high.

A few sleeping bags and some rope, twas all. sad
Yeah, but they were getting snippy with more people than just that guy. Never mind...off topic anyway. Just thought it was an interesting juxtaposition to WS.scandi said:Cwiz, on that site they said that they think that poster was a spammer who gets into the blog as a regular poster and then tries to sell his wares. He was trying to sell radios!

I wonder if the 2 men who originally left and realized they were in better shape, went back and took Kally out of that cave and brought him to theirs so they could take care of him. I think these guys would do that and risk their own lives to help a dear friend.
Wish they would give us the clues.
Presser on right now. They think these men built that snow cave, knew what they were doing and could do it again.

You are soooo sweet Liz........kind words appreciated.Liz said:Previously when I read this poem you posted, I had no idea that you wrote it yourself. It brought me to tears. You totally rock at writing poetry, Sundayrain! Just beautiful!
Thanks again to everyone for all the great info being posted.
Praying hard for a positive outcome to this rescue!
I read on Cascadeclimbers that at least a shovel was gone.Sassygerl said:the fact that equipment was left really bothers me and makes me think whoever left it wasn't thinking straight

I really noticed that.......I had mentioned it to my family. There is alot of "gruff" people over there. Telling people what they should and shouldn't talk about.cwiz24 said:What I meant was that a mountain climbing website is probably not used to following breaking news stories, like those on WS are, which is why they might be getting frustrated with one another. This might be one of the few live, breaking mountaineering stories that's being followed by all major news sources ever. WSers deal with it all the time. I originally made the comment about the cascadeclimbers website, so I've been reading there all day.
