I tend to think that the science projects in Kyron's classroom were done by other students in his class. I also tend to think that Kyron's class were given a few options on what they could do their project on. For example, maybe they spent a month on frogs as science cirriculum, so frogs was an option for the science projects. JMO

True, but did they then group them by subjects? That would be why he would go look at the exhibits on electricity.

I wish there was local that can explain the Science Fair schedule.

Like was the younger kids really put into groups? It the statement true Kyron was counted in the beginning but not in the end......something don't add up with that.

And it true that they were in groups Kyron would got to see the electric one with his group.

It hard for me to believe that the school would let the younger kids runs all over the school by their self.

I questioned my GS last night who is just going in 2 grade.

Would you leave the school grounds during school for any reason? even if a friend asked you....

His eyes got real big!

Oh No Grandma we get in big trouble and than we would have to go the principle office.

Do you go to the bathroom by your self?
We can go to the bathroom by our self (the bathroom are accross the hall 1st and 2st grade classroom) A less we stay to long and than we have to have someone go with us. AND than MS.xxx will coming looking for you....that not good another trip to principle office.

Now I know that when the kids go to lunch and recess... they must line up and be counted before they are allow on the playground and than they are line up again and counted before they go back in. I also know that there is like four to five teachers and helpers during recess. And only 1st grader and 2nd grader are on the playground.

The teachers and helpers surround the playground they do not stand in groups. I seen this for myself and I was very impress.

I not sure what I trying to get out just that Ican get grip on how this scince fair was run. I would also think there some kind time line up for talent show. And you mark off who was there. Why would whoever was in charge not asked the teacher Kyron due to be up....where is he????

O/T but last night I read an article and according to the American Anthropological Association, in a study of why people do things, it claims that as many as 1500 children are killed by a parent in the US every year, 3-5 a day is what they say.

While that seems high, it does seem like we read about another case almost every day here in "Crimes in the News" and there are probably many we never hear about, when parent confesses at once or a minor parent, etc...

It also said that for children under 5, murder is the 3rd leading cause of death and usually by a parent. We have some serious issues in this country.

None of this has to do with Kyron...just came across this while reading something about Darlie Routier...

Thanks, Cubby. I am not far from where Kyron lives and went to school, and I am fervently hoping for his safe return. It was chilly enough to turn the heat on tonight and I can't help but think of him and hope he is in shelter and hanging in there.

It makes it easier for parents, teachers, and judges to find their kids projects.

In our school, if a child comes in tardy, his teacher is called and TWO classmates are sent to the office to accompany the late child back to the room. It boggles my mind that 2nd graders would be able to simply roam around the school (event or not).

That is how my child's school does it too, but looking at the pictures gave me the idea they may have had a different setup at Kyron's small school. The point is that by looking at his classroom it seems most are on animals and he was going down the hall to look at the ones on electricity.

Did his friend also state that he saw SM leaving without Kyron? I read that in his interview I think.

SM did not stay to tour the groups nor did she come back for the talent show. Maybe she was the one with the appointment and thats why she had to leave.

I also think that people are posting disclaimers such as "if this isnt okay please remove" because some of us are newbies and arent quite sure of the guidelines. Ive read them and I am still unsure if something I post is not acceptable.

Unless we are 100% certain someone is involved with a case then we cannot mention them or sleuth them...that within itself is confusing.
Why would we even need to sleuth if we can only post exactly what is being told by the media? We cant say anything that hasnt been confirmed because it can be taken as gossip. Therefore, we can only repeat what has been confirmed.
Please understand I dont mean this in any negative way at all. I swear. I just want others to see that its not as simple as black and white for all of us..some of us are colored grey..very confused. LOL

I'm not sleuthing them myself, so I don't wanna get slapped with another time out, but honestly I'm kinda baffled by the whole No Sleuthing Family members rule. The amount of people who'd literally get away with murder if LE worked by that rule would be astonishing. Sucks though it does, a lot of the time family members are responsible.

Not at all saying they are here, and I understand respect for the victims etc. But, in this day and age, it's so hard to know who the real victims are (apart from the children themselves). imo.

I thought of that too, but the sheriff keeps saying over and over and OVER that there is NO indication that a crime has been committed and if and when there is they will follow those leads. They themselves are saying they have no information to make them believe a crime has been committed, yet they activate the Major Crimes Team. That doesn't add up, IMO.

What I've heard in other investigations is "We are pursuing parallel investigations as a matter of course." Maybe this sheriff just isn't very forthcoming or lacks good communication skills. You know, the little girl disappears with her brand new bucket (Zoey Dorsey), but they still check the S.O.'s just in case.

I really don't understand why this is so hard for everyone to understand. It has been CLEARLY stated multiple times on all of the threads. I'm new here yet I still got the message. So, what is the problem?

I still think that LE is operating on an "anything could have happened" agenda and just trying to cover every possibility and utilize every resource at their disposal. Adding Major Crimes to the search/investigation does not have to mean anything nefarious. They need bodies and the brains of different types of experienced staff.

None of the local news sites seem to have any new info this AM, still showing yesterdays' stories as the lead. I guess LE has not briefed media today at all? Do we know if they plan to do so at noon? I believe they said they would start providing more information at some point-do they have any to provide, I wonder??

I don't see it as strained between the two of them, what I see is each withdrawn into themselves. I'm seriously worried about both; they seem so flat and their eyes are just dead. All four were flat, but the moms...

It is so interesting that we all can watch the same thing and come away with so many different impressions.

I agree that Kyron's mom appears to be "withdrawn into" herself" She appears to be in shock and to be completely devastated. Ready to just give in to her terror and pain. That is what I see.

As for Terri, Kyron's step-mom, I don't see what you see. She is NOT "withdrawn into" herself. To me, she appears almost desperate to connect; she is seeking to connect with all three of the other family members and not one of them seems to want to connect with her. Though it could be that Desiree is too shut down to respond to Terri's gestures, I don't really think that is why she doesn't not respond to Terri. Desiree allows her husband to embrace her, to try and comfort her.

Terri moves herself very close to Desiree once Tony Young goes to the mike, Terry reaches out and touches Tony's back as he walks off and he in no way acknowledges that. She puts her arm around Desiree's shoulders, her hand almost grabbing D's neck, she lays her head upon this poor woman's shoulder and Desiree does NOT respond. She appears repulsed. This is what I see.

As a mom who possibly believed that another woman (or anyone) could be lying about what happened to my child I would behave in the same way as Desiree.

I am not accusing Terri of anything. It is only natural to wonder about her as she is the one who was last seen with Kyron; rather, she is the adult in charge of him, who says she last saw him in a hallway at his school and there are so many unanswered questions regarding her.

Where did she go after leaving the school?

Who, if anyone, saw her leave the school?

Where was the baby?

What were the errands she says she ran?

Children do not vanish off of the face of the earth. As so many people have pointed out, strangers stand out in an elementary school. The last person in the world to appear suspicious would be the parent (step-parent, caretaker, guardian) of a child; a child who then turns out to not have been seen since early morning that day at school. Truly, what other parents were there early, as Terri was?

Just questions that seem like the most natural place to start when looking for this precious little boy.

This may of been brought up before but are there any pics of Kyron without his glasses? I didn't see any in the albums but maybe I missed it.

If LE wanted to, they could easily edit out his glasses in some of the better pictures of him. That is often done in missing child cases, for this very reason...because the glasses often get tossed. Another reason this case is odd.

Just mentioning that Facebook doesn't always update in real time as far as their games go and things. Just because it says you are playing, say, Farmville at 8:00 am doesn't mean you are actually doing that.

It does update as soon as you press the button.

Yes, a lot of times family are involved. There is no indication of that in this case and until there is no one should bash this family. I think they are in enough pain right now.

Regardless, it is the rules of this site not to sleuth family or minors. Everyone that posts agreed to abide by the TOS when registering. Therefore, the TOS should be respected and followed.

I'm sort of amazed at how many opinions/questions members are getting on the threads by saying - oh, if it isn't right, the mods will delete it! OR, I know we aren't supposed to sleuth minors, but I'm just asking! Why all the games? If there is any question why put it up at all? Why not check with the mods first? MOO MHO and all that stuff!

I am confused and I dont know whos playing games. I dont want any part of playing games. I assumed we were all here to help find Kyron. What will help find Kyron exactly? What can we post that will bring us closer to possibly helping LE find Kyron?
