I'm sure they did find something like that, but how do they know he wasn't hung by someone else...that's what I'm wondering. Death by hanging could definitely be foul play but they've ruled that out.

Found remains ID’d, not Brooke Wilberger

No foul play suspected in young man's death

The human remains found by loggers near Lincoln City last week are not Brooke Wilberger.

The announcement, made Tuesday following an analysis by the state medical examiner's office, puts an end to speculation the missing student who disappeared from a Corvallis apartment might finally have been found.

Located Sept. 14, the remains were those of a younger man, according to Sgt. Ralph Turre of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. The name of the man has not been released.
