I got a bad vibe while watching the press conference.

I am thinking one of three scenarios are likely, heroin addict going through withdrawal, insanity due to drug reaction, or a paranoid schizophrenic who has been functioning very well until now but refuses drug meds.

All the disorganization of the activity and events, are odd until you stop trying to make sense out of them and realize we are not dealing with a professional calculating killer. He is probably known to law enforcement and has been picked up for 51/50 in the past.

Yes, and in the PC they said she never arrived at work. This makes me think she never even arrived. So, I'm thinking that something happened as she was leaving home.

I still wonder if the glass was broken out as a way to get her to go around to the passenger side and be distracted when she came out to leave for work. Whoever this is could then have come up behind her and forced her into passenger seat. I wonder if she had a usual parking spot at her complex, and if so, when she would come out of her apartment would she be approaching her car from the front, back or which side?

WHy did the husband chuckle before talking?

Did he?? Nervous laughter maybe? I know a lot of people that regardless of circumstance, as soon as they get up in front of a bunch of people, they laugh inappropriately.

I agree with you 100%. Gresham and far east Portland are kinda known for the narcotics abuse, and this is screaming high on meth/pcp or withdrawing from Heroin.

I have traveled through Oregon and purchased gas. I know you stay in the car and let the attendant fill it but I can't recall if I paid as a debit or credit and if it was credit, did I sigh for it? If it was debit, was I offered "cash back"?

Can any Oregonian tell us definitively what happens when you hand an attendant a card? Can you ger "cash back"?

I can do an ATM transaction and see it recorded on my On Line Banking record within minutes. I am not sure if "unsuccessful" i.e. wrong password attempts would show up the same.

Does anyone know if a "failed" transaction is shown on an On Line Banking record? (I know that Law Enforcement is able to track all transaction, even failed ones, eventually.)

No it does not show up but IIRC it does show up on the banks end when/if a teller were looking at the history on their computer. It will also show everytime you login online. At least this was the case and the bank I used to work at.

I think our perp lives in the trailer park northwest of the WalMart in Wood Village. I believe that if interviewed by LE, the park manager would have a good idea of who it is. IMO, the mapping of known sightings and evidence locations points directly to that park.

Finally almost caught up. My heart is breaking all over again
And yes when a family member goes missing people act weird and they have nothng to do with the diappearnce and get roasted to high heaven. Just look at Sierra Dad and Marlene B/F
Are we really sure only one car was used here. Could it be the car was parked at Walmart and then another car was used ?

I am thinking the husband's texts and phone calls may have rattled the perp. Not sure where to go from there, but if she was beside him at 9:15 I would imagine her phone would make noise.

Isn't that about when they said phone was turned off, or did I read something wrong...

Could be. I think bc of the dirt on the tires and the gas purchases the feeling is that her car was the one being used, but I don't think we're 100% sure of anything.

Oh gosh. How sad! The mother could barely breath and the husband had tears streaming down his face. Heartbreaking. Just crushing.

really, tears streaming down his face, I must have missed that I"ll have to go watch it again

I think her husband said about 9:30 the phone started going right to vm. If it was ringing or alerting and she had it on her up until then, the perp should have realized when someone became aware she was missing because her husband said he kept calling and texting her.....

I moved to Oklahoma about 4 months ago, other than that, grew up in Oregon. Most stations swipe your card right there at the pump, and tell you if declined right there too. You can only get cash back if you prepay inside. The one place I ever experienced being told to prepay inside was in Woodburn.

She is such a beautiful girl and looks very sweet. I keep wondering if there is someone that had an interest in her - beyond friend/acquaintance. Someone that was aware of her schedule, etc.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones.
