Re the wiped phone:

I think, when OP supposedly crouched over the dying Reeva in the toilet cubicle for "I don't know how long" - exactly then he may have called someone to ask for an advice what to do. And this someone may have answered him to install further loud bangs and to think of 1., 2., 3. etc. to stage the scene.
IF now the phone hadn't disappeared and wiped, THEN the whole "intruder theatre" would have busted.
Does it make sense re the bangs ...?

PS: My buttons (bottom left) are sometimes gone. Anybody else with this problem?

It's not a credible theory for me; Reeva died with the last shots, that is why there was arterial blood spatter on the walls. As well as the fact I believe that she was screaming until the last bang.

This statement was made for the media and often times, you'll say things to psych your opponent out. It's no different than an NFL coach saying there are no injuries on his team when in fact there are.

I just noticed: OP is always lying, may it be at some interview or at his own crime scene (murder, assault, accident) or at the lawyer bureau or to the psychologists or in front of Judge Masipa. No matter where - he doesn't say the truth. Mostly idiotic to believe anything.

Do you have a time reference for the sounds Stipp's housekeeper heard? How do you know what she heard was at the same time the Stipps heard screams?

ETA How do you know Reeva was shut in the toilet during the screaming heard before the shots? How do you know the toilet window wasn't open when she screamed?

Regarding the 1st para (above the dotted line which I added), you'll probably recall that the Stipps' housekeeper made an affidavit which was presented at trial.....We got to see that doc, but I doubt I would be able to find it now in order to refresh our memories of what "timings" it may have shown....Perhaps someone can pull that up?

Yes, I think so, my first choice. So he was as much interested in wiping as Oscar. And CP needed no advice what to delete, he did know himself very well.

Prior to this she heard a woman screaming, followed by 4 shots and then silence. I didn't hear her refer to a man screaming - only a man crying after the 4 shots when the woman's screams suddenly stopped. Five people heard a woman screaming, none of whom thought it was a man.

yes - Mr Fossil has posted all the tower connections for OPs phone.

However data traffic like Whatsapp is not logged specifically on the tower

So the point is that messages may have been deleted from the times the phone was connected - when they were supposed to be sleeping

yep, all the numbers dialled/received are recorded at the provider [not the conversation] this is how we know when he phoned stander etc

same for text messages.

so things likely to have been wiped would have been - for example - text message content. photos stored on the phone. notes on the phone.

not sure if answerphone messages and email could have been retrieved from the service provider...

shame netcare didn't have a recording of their call, that would have been a hammer blow imo. another lucky break. [i notice they mention digital recording of messages now]

I've been thinking on that, too. My guess is there were probably crass remarks made about different women they know, open discussions about possible "affairs," things said about their friends and business associates, etc......I've lived a very quiet and decent life, but I would "die" if some of my acquaintances could hear the free/open discussions (sometimes just joking around) I've had over the years w/my Forever Best Friend. Egads, they would probably NEVER speak to me again!...lol
