Thanks for your support!
Epic week (so far). It’s so wonderful to see their faces instead of a sketch or a reconstruction. Job well done to everyone at Othram. Life changing for many families. Thank you ❤️

FYI, on the solve page, it refers to Patricia as both thirty nine and forty at different points throughout.

I know there was speculation that this Doe might be Hispanic based on the recon, but I'm guessing based on the surname and region he was Creole? Interesting melting pot of genetics, Louisiana.

MOO

@othram, I'm wondering if you'd be able to help with this case in King County, Washington that I often think about.

The body of an older woman was found wrapped in a blue tarp, floating in Puget Sound near Vashon Island. According to Doe Network, her DNA is available.

Thank you for sharing the case. Our team will take a look.

This happens so much more often than people know - technology just wasn't there - expert guestimate that remains were male, turned out to be female. Thank goodness for DNA and the work you all do as part of it this lady's name is known - much gratitude.

Honored that Othram could assist the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office in identifying a 1996 homicide victim as Daniel Thomas Halloran. Daniel is another victim of Herb Baumeister.

Do you happen to know if Daniel Thomas Halloran was among the 5 unidentified victims listed on NamUs?

Last week, we launched Othram Maps, a lightweight, browser-based tool that renders massive family trees with ease. Right now, you can load any GEDCOM file, search and analyze the tree, and edit nodes directly in the interface. You can also export updated trees back to a GEDCOM file.
We’re working on export-to-image options (for reports and presentations) and DNA data integration and automatic tree building. We will post updates every few weeks!

Try it out and let us know what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d love to see next.

Our latest Othram research post explains how GEDCOM, the long-standing file format for family trees, becomes the foundation for graph-based reasoning and AI-powered identity resolution. This is the future you’ve been waiting for: dynamic maps of human relationships that enable scalable, automated identification.

Do you know how the initial dental identification was made, if the partial skull wasn't found until 1993?

Was it just the skull cap they found

Unfortunately, we are not sure how the dental analysis was performed.
