The NamUs description for this John Doe included details about how the remains showed signs of being intentionally decapitated using a saw. Have investigators said what they think those markings are now that it has been determined he accidentally drowned?

Possible postmortem damage?

Gear up for justice!

For all the genetic genealogists out there:

We just launched a new feature in Othram Maps called GLIMPSE, an AI-powered assistant that helps you get more from your family tree. GLIMPSE can add new details to people in your tree that might be missing from your GEDCOM, help verify the accuracy of the information you already have, and suggest potential relatives you might not have considered. It’s not a magic solution, but it is a powerful tool for surfacing leads and refining your research. To try it out, upload a GEDCOM to Othram Maps, select a person, and click the “GLIMPSE” button on their details page. We’d love to hear what you think. Your feedback will help us continue improving.
