The Othram research team just published the largest study of its kind providing a quantitative look at how FGG affects UHR cases, including revisions to manner of death after ID. We also find that more than 25% of resolved cases lead to charges, convictions, or were linked to deceased or serial offenders.

Since Othram helped identify Roger Neil Schmidt earlier this year, he was arrested and has now pleaded guilty to murder and sexual assault, receiving a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole. This is why we can't leave cases unsolved.
