Like I said - the note said they had kidnapped JBR - not the case, so why so convinced they were telling the truth about the faction? It makes no sense.

Saying there's no evidence of a foreign faction is blatantly wrong, since the RN actually uses the expression 'foreign faction' and was obviously written by the perp. How you can say there's 'no evidence' is beyond me.:liar:

Its not that complicated, really. If you tell me a postal worker did it, I'd say there's no evidence of that. If you tell me a representative of a foreign faction did it, I'd say there is evidence of that, the perps own words.

To restate, IMO the perps a middle-aged male, foreign national. I'm choosing to believe the foreign faction aspect of the RN because nothing has happened to contradict it. I'm entitled to my opinion, like you're entitled to yours, even though my opinion doesn't scandalize the R's with arbitrary accusations, and points elsewhere.

The foreign faction aspect of the RN appears to be true. Its not just because the RN author said it, its because after over 8 years nothing has happened to contradict the perp's remark:

1. No repeat crime in the US.
2. No DNA match.
3. No handwriting match.
4. No witnesses coming forward.
5. No admissions of guilt.
6. No charges filed against any local.
7. No domestic leads.

How do you know there was never a kidnapping intended? What facts do you have that indicate the kidnapping was always a ruse? How do you know that at the time the RN was written, the perp's intention wasn't kidnapping? In a botched kidnapping, do you think that the perp was going to bother to update the RN to keep the reader informed on what ultimately happened to JBR?
