P.I. Says He Videotaped Area Where Caylee Was Later Found

I have to apologize because I believe we have digressed from the topic of this thread! We are supposed to be talking about the PI who has a video of the wooded area.

For those joining late and missing NG tonight...according to LP....the PI's video was near but not exactly in the same area where Caylee was found. He estimated 200-300 yards away from that spot. He also stated that PI Casey called PI Hoover (who shot the video) on Nov. 15th telling him that they had found Caylee. When PI Hoover asked PI Casey if she was alive he said no..but that they were going to get her right then. They went out with a camera and found nothing. LP said he saw the video and it was the wrong spot - not where Caylee was ultimately found. So the video did not prove that the body was not there all along as has been suggested in the media. He speculated that Hoover had filmed the event because he wanted to sell the video to the media if something was found.

That is my parting post....it is now well past my bedtime and I must retire for now!

At this point GSJ was the closest of anyone to the body location. She was within feet of the site.

This is a great forum, & although I am relatively new here, I don't think this is a place for such self-righteous, "Higher than Thou" opinions. With that said, I hope we can now get back ON TOPIC.

I see nothing 'haughty' or 'self-righteous' in any of Wudge's comments. He was accused of going OT, explained the situation courteously and calmly and got attacked again for his trouble!

I have only been a member of this forum for a relatively short while but have come to recognise Wudge as one of the best members here. His posts are factual, logical and informative and his posting style is always calm and respectful. Perhaps you should check the sequence of events properly before lashing out in future.

The prosecutors have tried this case in the media from day one. They recently took on a huge public embarassment problem with the meter man's story and also cut the death penalty out of the charges.

If they have received new and highly significant evidence (fingerprints, toxicology tests, etc.), my experience has taught me that prosecutors would have gone back to the well that has so far served them so favorably. In other words, they would have quickly had any such evidence made known in the court of public opinion.

Is it possible or even likely that the prosecution was releasing only enough information needed to 1) fulfill Sunshine Law requests and 2) apply pressure on the parents - particularly Cindy - to force cooperation?

For example, the release of trunk forensics followed closely Cindy's public criticism of LE for not looking for a live Caylee. Cindy had described the smell of a dead body in the trunk in her third 911 call, then changed her story and said it had to be a pizza. The prosecution then released the preliminary report on the odor analysis, essentially saying "Cindy, you did indeed smell a dead body. It was not a pizza - there was not one in the trunk, but we tested it's odor anyway."

Subsequent releases in October and November seem to coincide with upticks in criticism of LE by the Anthonys, again for not searching for a live Caylee. Release of George and Cindy videos and transcripts right before the November TES search appear to be in response to the criticisms of that impending search.

Hey, Dot... I was reading Kios interview through and there were 2 spots they hung in.

The first spot she describes as behind the school, where they would picnic and such. (page 2 of following link)

The second spot she described as across from the school, THIS was where they would play "Mommies and Daddies"....(page 12, line 17, following link)

Wasn't Caylee found down a little, but ACROSS from the school? And her remains were scattered for 1 acre, that covers alot of area...

Correction. There were bones scattered all over an acre plus area on Nov. 15th. I say that Caylee WAS there on Nov. 15th, if that is when the video was shot, and that he simply missed seeing the bag or remains. When the forensics come out, I believe they will back this up. There will be ways to tell how long the remains were there. For starters, how far down did they have to dig to find those tiny little bones? This will give them a place to begin.

Unless you have seen the actual footage, you cannot know that DC was in the EXACT spot.

"The A's had a suspicion this is where Zanny might go since KC told them that Zanny knew where to plant evidence to frame KC. Maybe the A's sent him around that area to only look for an alive Caylee, so everything else, garbage, etc. wasn't relevant.

A few other things in this timeframe that are interesting. I believe it was Nov 16 that the pic of the little girl from the mall play area was given to LE, and Nov 20/21 that the pic was released to the press.

A press conference was supposed to be held that week in which the As were to present 'evidence' that Casey was alive. This presser was delayed until Nejame came back from a trip.

When Nejame came back, he quit, and now says his resignation was because he would not help Casey.

I checked it out, SS. AND...Dr. Lee checked the trunk on November 14th! Did someone confront Casey after that and get a clue? Really strange they get the TIP that she's dead the day after the trunk exam...

That the P.I. was trying to sell the video, that the P.I. told Padilla they had found the body back in Nov? Anyone else catch that?

Is this looking for an alive Caylee?? I get more & more confused between the A's, lawyers, & PI's. Is anyone truthful involved with this case????

Dominic Casey, a colleague of Hoover who works for the Anthonys, claims he went to the site in November with a camera to rule out the possibility that there was any evidence of Caylee there. Dominoc Casey said he didn't find anything, but admits he might have missed the remains.

The pair of private eyes, one of whom was working for Caylee's grandparents, said they not only visited, but videotaped and photographed the wooded area. Dominic Casey also said that he and Hoover were following up on a tip one of Casey Anthony's childhood friends, Kiomarie Cruz, had given detectives.
