P.I. Says He Videotaped Area Where Caylee Was Later Found

Because the vegetation that is lush and green in the humidity of the summer begins to die off in the fall.

The leaves and palmettos likely obscured the bag in the summer but as they dried out and fell off it became easier to see what was in there.

The meter man saw the bag in August. He later met a detective at the scene yet the detective found nothing.

Months later, in the same spot, the meter man finds the body in a taped up plastic bag.

Are we sure that MM saw THE bag in Aug? I recall him saying he saw a white round object and a white board laying against a fallen tree that looked like it had been cut on.

There's no way that LE can defend a detective meeting with the meter man at the site in August wherein the meter man points to where the plastic bag is but the detective finds nothing.

This tape is pure impeachment evidence, because there is no story that LE can spin that would make any sense.

I don't think it was a Det. Just a Uniform Patrol Officer who was dispatched relative to the "call."

I remember reading about a big snake being in the area and I'm sure it spooked the cop and he high-tailed it......apparently no one ever went back though.

I think it has been concluded that what the meter man saw in August was not, in fact, what he discovered upon his return in December.

I never heard either the meter man or anyone from LE say this.

WOW. I think KC told CA where Caylee was when she was out on bond. They have had no opportunity to go to the area as every move they make is watched. They send the PI to film the area so that they can rest assured that the body is well hidden and won't be found. The PI is not aware of their reasons for having the area filmed. I am much more understanding now of the A's lack of reaction when "bones" were found while LP was searching the river.

If the videotaping PI was working on anything other than a hunch, I'm guessing the information came from Casey or Kronk through a tip. Baez has his panties all in a wad about it, so I'm suspicious of what Casey has told him.

The Anthony's didn't love Caylee enough to keep her safe and they didn't love her more than KC. CA must save KC at all costs. IF CA had loved Caylee enough she would NEVER have let KC take her off at nite to spend the nite in various boyfriends beds, laying around on couches at parties where there was booze and drugs and who knows what else and sleeping where? In the trunk of the car??? CA didn't care enough about Caylee to find out what sort of life the poor child was leading. Caylee was a VERY abused child. I wish to God someone had called child protective services long ago.

The private investigator was apparently working with the Anthony family at the time. It raises questions about whether the Anthonys knew the remains were there a month before they were found..

That's the first thought I had.
WHY would he be videotaping that specific area? WHY?
Who advised or led him to that area? There had to be a reason, you just don't go videotaping a swampy area for the fun of it.
Was any other area videotaped or that specific one?
So many questions and eyebrows raised on this one. When did the A's ask for immunity?

Now correct me if Im wrong, but the defense claimed all along Caylee was alive, so why would they be having conversations about finding her remains?

I think the Anthonys did know where the remains were. Or at least a general location. I think some of the 'code' that KC gave Lee was trying to tell him where the body was. I believe the body wasn't easily seen by that time. Even if this PI did film the area doesn't mean he was in this exact area or that the remains didn't shift with the hurricane that came thru.

That doesn't begin to make sense. How do you send someone to film an area where a body is hidden to make sure it can't be seen and not tell them what they're looking for? If the body wasn't well hidden, they'd be sending him right to it. No way on earth will anyone ever convince me that the A's knew the location of Caylee's body.

For those who don't believe the body was there since June, someone moved it there after mid November, made animal teeth marks in the bones and then spread them across an acre of land? I am not following at all.
