I have searched for a thread for Armand here but have not found it. This case hits close to home, and I find it tragic because it's received very little publicity from larger local media – only community newspapers (one of which is behind a paywall) and blogs. The incident occurred in an economically depressed neighborhood in a densely populated inner-ring suburb of Philadelphia. By all accounts the victim was a hardworking kid who held down a job, volunteered for a local council representative, and was going into his senior year of high school. Local LE have put out appeals to witnesses to come forward, and indicated Armand may have been the victim of an attempted robbery, but despite 30+ people on the scene at the time he was shot they have gleaned little information. For this reason I suspect an "organized" element may be in play, whether gang, drug trade or both.
