It's been two years.

Pennsylvania State Police have this as an active Cold Case. You need to contact them and ask to speak directly to the officer who is assigned to this case. When I spoke with them years ago, they were very receptive to my comments and information, and they did follow up work which led to his being positively identified.

I was thinking of Corporal Corriveau on Memorial Day.

Remember Corporal Corriveau this month on Memorial Day. He served his country as a Marine and was wounded three times in Viet Nam.

Corporal Robert Daniel Corriveau, USMC age 20
Murdered 18 November 1968

Although Corporal Corriveau had been unidentified and buried since 1968, he was finally identified in 2012 and reburied in Massachusetts with full military honors.

His bronze headstone reads:
ROBERT DANIEL CORRIVEAU
CPL US MARINE CORPS
VIETNAM
DEC 1, 1947 - NOV 18, 1968
PURPLE HEART & 2 GS

His murder remains an unsolved and open case.

Corporal Corriveau, USMC, was murdered over 57 years ago in November 1968. He remained unidentified until 2012, when his identification was positively determined. His murder remains unsolved.
