I'm going to head upstairs where I won't interupt dear hubby's tv viewing and check out the scanner too. If it hasn't been linked by the time I get settled up there I will track the link down for us.

I believe there is a paved trail/pathway leading from the intersection at cobbs creek and Catharine street into a wooded looking area that leads close to the park.... I put it on a map a few pages back.

Thanks, amberdawn. For Watcher9 you don't need a car to get anywhere in the neighborhood.

The play area Nailla was found at was close to a very big transportation center too. 69th Street is always busy. I've never been at 5:00AM, but worked shifts with people that came from other parts of the city and they had to.

I don't know what to think.

Maybe teh "safety of your children" thing is an effort to get people to open their doors and talk with LEOs but I don't get that feel.

I agree with The Cheese, its entirely possible they think there may still be other children at risk.

My first instinct is to think N was targeted not because of grandpa but I do feel she may have been targeted through someone who knows either mom or dad. The reason she was targeted is still one big ole honkin unknown for me

I don't believe the police would scare parents like that just to get people to open their doors. They didn't in Jessica Ridgeway's case, and they knew they had grave danger there.

I think N was targeted because she is beautiful and because she was accessible. Accessible meaning they had knowledge or could get knowledge in order to formulate the abduction plan. Could be someone who works at the school, someone who works with mom or dad, someone at N's daycare, someone who works in a store nearby.

Well I did find the scanner thread, but it was closed once the child was found. I've PM'ed Raine to see if she will reopen it. I'll see you folks downstairs if she does...

The cynic in me is surfacing, I have to admit.

does LE really think her abductor(s)are still in the area? Once she 'escaped' would they sit tight?

  • #727
I want to bring this up again as I feel it is crucial evidence as to who might have taken this child.

I truly believe that whoever took N has some sort of connection or knowledge about who is on the list of people who is allowed to N pick up at school. Otherwise why randomly throw the name Tiffany out there. They HAD to have known someone named Tiffany was on that list as it would have been the only way to get N out of school. You know what I mean?

I hope the school wouldn't lie and say she said her name was Tiffany in an effort to cover their butts. As in - look at the contacts list and then say yep she said her name was Tiffany.

Many abductors sit tight. Austin Sigg, Somer Thompson's abductor - Just 2 off the top of my head.

Holy Freaking Cow! :what::what::what:
That brings up way too many offenders I have already found several that might meet the description. (598 offenders and 66 non-mappable)

They're just the ones registered. Now imagine way too many zipcodes in a city that come up the same way. I live in one. Oh and montco is a skip away and you have more, more, more.

Thank you for all your work here, Angel.

JMO but I think the real Tiffany may have met the male or female kidnappers and mentioned the victim's name or shown a photo of her (beautiful little girl!) and mentioned other details like where she went to school. It could be through her workplace or circle or friends or anywhere. I'm not suspicious of the real Tiffany but I don't think these perps hacked into the school computer system or that it's an inside job at all. The full body Muslim dress with niqab was to hide her identify from the video cameras that she knew or expected to be in the school. JMO

If they have existing warrants they will be pretending they are not home for the door knocks. Unless they have some sort of probable cause other than the occupant did not answer the door to gain a warrant to enter.

hmm, interesting transmissions, the few there are, on the scanner linked above.

Did they say there would be no on air transmissions? I didn't catch what area they indicated.

So then are you thinking the substitute teacher (who would not know this person was not a parent) and the fact that N had just returned to school that day after being home ill Thursday and Friday before is just a coincidence that was very convenient for the abductor? Certainly possible but those two things added up with the Tiffany, the knowledge of which classroom, etc. really concerns me.

Okay, so we know Tiffany is on the approved list right? Pretty sure I read an article linked upthread a ways that said that, someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Wonder how often Tiffany has picked up N at school and if she ever had to go pick her up ill unexpectedly because mom couldn't get off work. Further wonder if in that sort of situation she may have had a casual friend with her when she did so.

Food for thought Cluc, I will hand it to you.

but the darn sub and other stuff still isn't sitting right with me.

Btw I waited for my Kindergartener to come out of his class at the end of the day and he never did. I panicked and ran down the steps to his classroom door which was now locked. I asked the teacher next door if I could cut thru her class - she said yes (!). Found my child's teacher who said she let him go with another student and his mom to another part of the school upstairs!! She said she figured it was ok!! I about had a heart attack. See there was an activity going on upstairs after school but my child did not have permission to go with anyone other than ME! I decided to tell both of my children about this case. My 5 yr old cried and said he didn't know. The thing is I have told them over and over to never go with anyone else unless I tell them.
