Does anyone else wonder if federal charges may be filed against others? Just throwing it out there. Is the FBI part of the "task force" mentioned by the Captain?

I hope that the poster who runs a community page with victim's name and who claims to be her mom is not actually her mom.

If it is her mom, I hope that she will rethink posting such details of the assault upon N on the web. This is stuff that probably should be best covered in trial.

N will grow up and in the information age to boot. I hope mom thinks very hard about releasing such detailed information about her daughter's injuries to the public.

If that is indeed her mom stating those things on the community page.

Regusters was suspended recently. No one at the daycare would speak with us Friday when we knocked on the door.

One last comment to the subject of the community FB page with person posting who refers to N as "My Baby"

If it is mom, she is hurting her daughters criminal case, and her own civil one by speaking publicly in that manner.

N's mom is represented by very experienced counsel. Mr. Kline would not be allowing that sort of shooting off of the mouth and discussing the case like that.

That is why I suspect that is NOT N's mom posting. Maybe another relative. But not mom

Not only that, but N's name isn't even spelled correctly. There's supposed to be an apostrophe in there.

I think it's a phony page.

It makes me sad that someone would pretend to
be the mother. How cruel... the poor mom has been
through more than any one person should ever have
to endure... Not to mention the victim- now I am wondering

About n being released from hospital. We all know the changes in the medical system.
Unless you need surgery or life support they put you out as soon as you are stable. It doesn't matter if you are a victim of a horrible crime or not..A few years ago they would have kept her for as long as need be..

The more I think about this... If it is a relative or
someone posting for the mom- maybe they wanted
the details out so people understand that this just
wasn't a case where someone took N, got scared, and
then released her unharmed. I think more people would
come forward knowing that this person is the devil himself/
herself. (especially in a community where no one talks)
Not that I agree- what happened to N is HER experience and story-
and I don't believe the public needs such details unless she chooses
to share what occurred- only she should have that power, IMO.

I don't think that page is legit, for a start the number of likes is very low. If the mother made the page or had access to it, I am sure it would have got a lot more legs.

Makes me sick that someone would either make up those details or if they were somehow in the know, release them

I don't think its legit either, for surgery of the kind needed for the repairs claimed on this page, she would have had a longer hospital stay than over night..

Well, I am deeply sorry that I went and found that FB page purported to be by N.'s mother. However, I will not be surprised if the information is true, given the few cautious & horrified comments made by LE and the number & nature of the charges. (And that is the very definition of throwing the book at someone--with those charges plus the bail amount I don't think the DA intends that she ever step out of prison again, and I'm fine with that.)

I still don't think she did everything alone, but I do think it is possible that she actually committed the rape herself, especially given the nature of the charges. Surely kidnapping and the other serious felonies would have been enough to scare her into giving up the other offender(s) without it being necessary to bring *those* specific charges.

Women can be sexual predators, folks--even teenage baby-faced ones. I don't think those charges are going away even if she gives up her cohort(s). What scares me the most is that if you look on her FB page there are several pics of her with other young girls. Maybe this was the most brutal attack, but maybe it wasn't her first.

I feel ill.

It makes sense that something severe happened to her physically. She was brought back and a reporter Dann Cuelar was posting on his fb to 'pray for the victim' and that she was 'horribly injured' during her abduction and was returning to the hospital because of her injuries. That's when we began speculation of FGM. JMO

I cannot find the FB page being referred to... And think very possibly it is not a true account...

But can we rule out FGM?

People are pretty sick. What they will do for attention.

I've speculated enough about FB rumor.

I want to know the story with the man.

When will he be apprehended and what was his role? Was there a light haired man at all or just a photo of one shown to N?

So many conflicting reports.

Child's mother has a high profile lawyer. I really don't think the lawyer would want her to be posting on facebook and such. Especially considering potential awards involved.

I'm skeptical of the mother posting on facebook at all!! I do not believe she is posting on facebook surely she would be talking with reporters if she wanted to publicly make a statement. She has not been mixed up in the media or social networking during this entire ordeal so it's hard for me to believe.

The wall the child was lifted over could be the one at the park. I think it may be a fact that's getting mixed around a bit.

Considering the fact that when we first learned of N's case and her name was public, there was an apostrophe included in it- I doubt that the FB rumor is legit.

Surely her own mother or family members would spell her name correctly.
