A judge agreed to move Horvath’s trial from March to a later date in Monroe County.

The trial for a Monroe County man accused of kidnapping and murdering his co-worker has been postponed.

On his way into court, Michael Horvath told a news reporter, "I did not do this. I did not kill Holly."

His trial was supposed to start in March. That date has been pushed back because the defense says it needs more time to prepare.

Holly Grim update: Two years since arrest, what's happening with case? - NY Daily News

Horvath, of Ross Township, will stand trial sometime in 2019. There’s a pretrial hearing in the case scheduled for Feb. 19 in Monroe County Court in Stroudsburg. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty, so there will be a trial followed by a penalty phase if Horvath is convicted of first-degree murder. He’s charged with with homicide, abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence and obstruction of the administration of law.

According to search warrants, Horvath took photos inside Grim's living room when nobody was home and had a duplicate key to her house.“
