The Philadelphia Police Department is searching for three missing toddlers and the man they were last seen with.

According to police, Jari , Jasmine and Journey Baptiste, all two years of age, were last seen in the area of Haines street in Philadelphia on December 18, 2022 around 8:08PM. They were reportedly with Stanley Baptiste, 37. Police believe the children may be at special risk of harm or injury.

Police say a woman was shot and killed around 7:30 p.m. on the 1900 block of Haines Street.

Police say three kids, aged two years old, went missing from the area around the same time of the homicide.

They are believed to be with 37-year-old Stanley Baptist who police say was last seen driving a 2004 Lincoln Navigator.

A vehicle matching that description was found in Lansdale Sunday night, but police sources tell Action News the children are still missing.

I feel like I can usually understand why amber alerts aren’t issued for certain cases but I’m really scratching my head about this one. Why no alert?

The children were found safe. :)

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Three children have been found safe after an all-night search that began with a homicide investigation in Philadelphia and apparently ended with a man being found dead in Montgomery County.

***********

That SUV was found in Lansdale, Pa. overnight but the children were not inside.

We know the coroner was called out and we know a man's body was taken out of the vehicle, as well as a handgun.

The identity of the man found dead has not been released.

Overnight, troopers took down the missing poster for Baptiste.

It's not yet known where the children were found.

Poor babies. No momma now. Another generation traumatized and left vulnerable because of their own father's mental illness.
