HAVE YOU SEEN HER?

Kada Scott, 23, has been missing since Sunday. Philadelphia police say she was last seen leaving her overnight shift at The Terrace at Chestnut Hill assisted living facility which has no surveillance cameras.

Detectives say her phone is off and no one has heard from her. They’re also concerned because Kada told friends she was being harassed days before her disappearance.

Kada’s parents pray she comes home. They urge the public to speak up if they have any information.

NO SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS in this day and age?!

I'm recalling another case where someone at a nursing home disappeared during a shift. I don't recall the details and I'm not suggesting this case mimics that one, but I think in that situation, the missing person left voluntarily? I don't trust my memory, though. But it is a possibility she wanted to leave, and that scenario offers hope she will surface somewhere safe.

I’m new to websleuths and finding missing persons, so forgive my ignorance, but would reverse searching her face on facial recognition sites like tin eyes help? It could help find her in the unfortunate circumstance that she was SA’d and any footage of that was uploaded onto adult sites.
Welcome to Websleuths mimiko!

I hope you're right. I hope she just needed a break.
I'm still thinking about LE's comment that she "left work". Perhaps there are cameras right at the employee entrance and it captured her walking out the door?

While watching a TikTok from Fox 29 Philadelphia the reporter mentioned no nearby camera's. He mentioned that Kada's phone, ipad and apple watch are all unaccounted for as well as the key's to her car.

If there are no cameras, perhaps they know she "left" because you need to swipe an ID card to leave the building?

How scary for her mom. Beautiful young lady, sounds very together, responsible, not someone who would just go MIA one day midshift?

I would like to know more about this potential stalker or person who was "harassing" her by phone.

I wanted to get a sense of Kada's work environment and setting at The Terrace at Chestnut Hill. It is located in a nice, treed neighborhood. It looks like a nice, modestly-sized facility from the outside. It's only a 5 minute drive from her home on Rodney St.

It looks like it would be easy for someone to observe her arriving at work and the parking lot is very small. There is a church parking lot directly across the small side street, where someone could park unobserved at that time of night.

There are 2 small parking lots, but as the main entrance is to the right side of the building, I'm guessing that the staff park in the small lot at the corner of Stenton and Abington.

Here's a view of that lot:

The Terrace at Chestnut Hill - google maps
For anyone not familiar with Philadelphia, Chestnut Hill is one of the nicest neighborhoods in the city. The NW Philly neighborhoods around there are almost more like suburban areas than urban. It looks like her home is nearby in the West Oak Lane neighborhood, which is a little more urban than Chestnut Hill but nonetheless one of the more affluent African American neighborhoods in the city with a rich tradition in Philadelphia jazz and arts.

This case doesn't have the feel of random street level violence anyway, but the area of the city that we're looking at makes it less so (than say if she worked or lived in North Philly or Kensington). Obviously, we all know crime is hiding in dark corners everywhere, but this is not a part of the city with an epidemic of drugs or gangs or violent crime.

Tin eye is pretty good, but I have found it only seems to give you links back to msm locations of the photo, NOT social media such as Facebook. Not sure if it will link to adult sites. I've attached an example of a picture I had taken of us when working (not security sensitive), run through tin eye and what the results I got looked like.

She looks lovely on the released photos.

I struggle to comprehend an assisted living facility having zero cameras - especially at the entrance/exit to the building.

These jobs can be very stressful at times for staff - so I worry about that possible angle.

The part about being harassed is another worry

I hope shes found safe but it’s not looking good

Does anyone have a photo of her without makeup? My reverse search results on Pimeyes only shows other girls with similar makeup styles

They should check all laundry & garbage bins.
I agree, I'm sure other employees have her phone # as well. We can't discard the fact it could have been a coworker harrassing her. IMO

The nursing home Website. The Terrace at Chestnut Hill | Senior Living in Philadelphia Appears to be a nice facility. She has only worked there for 2 weeks according to @Eli9 post above ( video)
Given all the information we have about KS it sure sees like she was on an upward trajectory in life. I'm hoping that there are some data LE can receive from her cellular carrier to see if they can determine who was harassing her prior to her disappearance. I fear for her safety.
