I found what appears to be her LinkedIn page (with photo). In it, in addition to her educational background (recent college grad,) it states she owns and operates a "Beauty Spa" in Mt. Airy called "K$ Beauty Spa". I can find no business listing for that (with that specific name) or anything similar in Mt. Airy, nor any other record of a physical business by that or similar name. Could it have been a home business (i.e. independent consultant for sales of cosmetics,/skincare eyelashes, etc.)? https://www.linkedin.com/in/kada-scott-788736232

I found that on her LinkedIn page too, but noticed other parts of it seemed like she hadn’t updated the page in a couple of years (maybe 2023 but that’s from my memory a few nights back so could be wrong). I figured it was an older business she may no longer operate, but that was just my assumption.

I wasn't able to locate a K$ Beauty Spa in the Pennsylvania Department of State's Business database:

I'm wondering if it was a school assignment to set up a LinkedIn page? idk.

There was a search this morning at Awbury Arboretum. Citizen App Videos show multiple police vehicles lined up on Washington Lane starting at Ardleigh St. I included a map with the distance from her job and where the search is being done. The red line is the area the police were parked. I also took a picture of the entrance. It looks like the rest of the property is fenced. Here is the link to the most recent News Report

Speculating - elder care is extremely expensive and can be an emotional process for families. Could the person who was harassing her be a family member of someone who she cares for, or someone who perhaps was denied care by this facility (due to capacity or level of care or some other legitimate concern)? MOO

You're correct, it doesn't appear there are cameras in SEPTA buses recording passengers. But they did install AI cameras which target illegal parking in bus lanes.

While fare evasion cameras are installed at stations, the new bus-mounted cameras are focused on traffic enforcement, not on passengers. The distinction is that video evidence for fare evasion on buses is typically gathered at transit centers, and passengers are then confronted by police. The new AI cameras on buses are not meant for internal surveillance of passengers, but rather for external surveillance of vehicle traffic.
any records of fare cards used?

I think if she were in a daytime or administrative role this could definitely be a good lead to follow. However, upthread it’s been mentioned she’s only worked there for 2 weeks, and especially working 10p-6a, I don’t believe she would’ve had much chance to meet families or get to know them well, even coworkers.

if they know that she arrived safely, what would cause her to leave the building between 10p.m. and 6 a.m.?

Some new (to me) info from your linked article:

Sources say the FBI is also assisting with this search and investigation.

"We certainly see some signs that this person isn't voluntarily missing," Vanore said Friday.

There’s also (again) sort of conflicting info as to her “last seen” time/location, but the conflicting info is consistent at least with the original press releases- one part says she was last seen at 9:45pm leaving for her 10pm shift, and another says she was last seen at her place of employment by her coworkers shortly after her shift started. I don’t think that clarifying this makes a huge difference, as the first time (9:45) was from her mom seeing her before leaving for work, but we do know she made it to work as her car was left in the lot, and LE has stated she clocked in.

trail map- https://awbury.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Awbury-Walking-Map-with-Mileage-Aug-2020.pdf

"Awbury Arboretum spans 56-acres of scenic landscapes, featuring walking trails, historic homes, and an agricultural village. Designed in the English Picturesque style, the grounds showcase rolling hills, open meadows, and framed vistas of trees and shrubs. Visitors can also explore a pond, watercourse area, and the walled garden known as AdventureWoods. While the Francis R. Cope House serves as Arboretum Headquarters and is open to the public, the other historic homes are privately owned and not available for tours."

LISTEN:
@PhillyPolice @PPDFrankVanore says “Evidence in the case has led us here to Awbury Arboretum grounds, 3 miles down Stenton Avenue from where 23 year old Kada Scott vanished from where she works.

I'm not sure which linked article it was but I believe I read she had only worked there a couple of weeks, so probably not long enough to be targeted by someone associated with a resident of the facility.
