Standard job duty, like maybe taking out trash
Run to your car for something.
Call from someone saying they had something of yours and wanted to drop it off (like maybe her tablet was left somewhere--or purposefully stolen for this purpose)
Escape from life with someone picking you up (I list this as a possibility, but I don't think this is the case)
Call from someone that a family member is hurt and someone will pick you up(? Not sure about this)

What else might cause you to leave the building only somewhat over 40 minutes into your shift, expecting to come back or not?

Something as simple as needing fresh air.

Could the T refer to "teen" as in a teen pageant? Maybe Teen West Philadelphia?? Or did she compete as adult, not teen?

If you go to the official Miss PA USA instagram, there is a post from July 25th that has all the contestants' pictures. It's in alphabetical order according to the title. Kada is Miss Philadelphia Twp, not to be confused with Miss Philadelphia and Miss Philadelphia County. So I think that suggests these were at-large titles the girls paid for in order to compete at the state pageant. That level of redundancy in titles isn't usually seen for live pageants. I believe Twp stands for township and she requested that title so she could be a Philadelphia queen. When you pay for a title, it can be almost anything you want. She could have requested Miss Philadelphia Cream Cheese if she wanted. As long as you pay the fee, I'm not sure anyone cares.

If it's slow on the night shift, I think running outside for a transaction is not horrible.
Granted, I've been at my job for a long time, she was 2 weeks in. Even though I have a strict schedule I could dip out for a sec and get coverage for things.

I just think that if I had been getting harassing calls, I would be looking over my shoulder and carrying a 2 x 4... IMO.

Farfetched theory here, but, do we know for sure that she was receiving harassing calls? We know that is what she told family and/or friends. But what if she wanted to move on to another "life"? Maybe that was part of a story she was laying down. And maybe leaving her car behind was part of that.

I'm just trying to think of theories where Kada would still be alright.

I don't own an apple anything. If an iPhone is turned off, but if an iPad is turned on and logged into an account, would it not ping gps if that was turned on for the device? An Android tablet would.

I've seen mention that her Apple iWatch was what pinged at Awbury, but who knows if that's true? Maybe her cell phone died, but her tablet or watch still had some battery life.

Burner phones are less anonymous than they once were. Activating them often require some kind of data that can identify the buyer.

Doesn't the FBI only investigate in missing child cases, cases on federal properties, interstate crimes, plus fraud (I think) ? Is that Arboretum federal property by any chance?

There may be something bigger going on here, also as hinted with the complete silence and lack of info.

If a Local LE Agency invites them in, they offer support services. In this case, I think it would most likely be for forensic help with electronic data, due to the reports of harrassment.

Thanks for finding this. The pageant world is a mystery to me, other than basic details. Another poster upstream said you could claim a title to gain entry to larger state pageants - whatever that means.

That way of doing things - paying an entry fee and choosing your title is foreign to me. I would guess there are a number of pageant systems, each with its own rules. They may also vary widely from one location to another. What I'm familiar with doesn't seem very cut-throat, but you do read about exceptions.

Something from the pageant world seems far-fetched to me, but I did mention it as a possibility as we explore possibilities.

Don't forget though that she wasn't working your traditional hours. If she's handing over something, it's unlikely to be too far into her shift, like 2am or something, given most people are asleep at that time.

I can't help but wonder if there's more to Kada than we're being told, or that even her friends, family or police know. Has anyone created a list of things we do know? As far as I'm aware, we know she is/was a college student, recently started the night shift role, saw herself as a bit of a creative with art works and clothing design her main pursuits, was an entrepreneurial type, had been pursuing beauty pageants, lived at home and was very active on social media. On the social media front, she seemed to have a lot of accounts, and each one a different area of her life. I feel she was hoping for fame in one of those artistic areas, and possibly wanting to be an influencer. Her pics and posts all seem carefully curated to give a certain look. It seems she had her fingers in a lot of pies, and may have looked outside the usual ways to get rich or famous, maybe at her detriment. She definitely appeared to want to go somewhere with her life - her liberal arts education, the clubs she was involved with at college, her business, her artistic pursuits, all her social media accounts etc.

On her social media front, has anyone found an account that goes back a long way? Every Instagram account seems fairly recent or doesn't go back a long way. No pics of her looking younger, and at that age a few short years can make a huge difference in looks. Was she re-inventing herself fairly recently?

Can we link her linked in? There's a few interesting things there regarding her beauty business.

The fact she just mentioned being harassed by phone, seemingly without going into details to anyone, suggests to me that maybe she was being blackmailed over something she may not want known. Maybe in relation to one of her side hustles/business ventures, or maybe something in her private life? All MOO.
